Dave "Tiger" Williams:

I was going to say Glenn Hall.

It would be unprecedented if a goalie started all 82 games of a season, let alone six seasons in a row + 11 more games

Mario Lemieux: scored all 5 different goals that it is possible to score, in 1 game.

Brodeur's win record (whatever he finishes at) and games played at goal.

Worst plus-minus in a season (-82, Bill Mikkelson)

Homer vote for the wings 62 win season. Salary cap might prevent that.

We're at 10 posts and no mention of Gretzky? Dude has at least a half-dozen records that won't even get sniffed near.

Not sure that is a 'record' as opposed to just a cool occurance.

92 goals or 200+ points.

The only record he needs to be mentioned in is "highest scoring brothers in NHL history" because everyone forgets that Brent played 13 games for the Lightning.

Every other record of his is a given.

What about sudden death goal? We have OT now.

The NHL implemented overtime in 1983.

Technically going by scoresheets, an OT goal is considered the GWG, and not a specific 'type' of goal.

We now have shootouts, but they don't even count those goals as personal goals, or else I could see that being counted as a new one.

Both can be broken and would not be too surprised to see that happening.

Glenn Hall's record is the one that can't be broken in todays hockey.

Gretzky with his records is a good source. 164 assists, 215 points and few more won't be broken. Selanne's 76 goals as a rookie is up there too.

Not too surprising? There are only 10 goalies with 400 wins, only 2 with 500 (Roy, Broduer) and only 1 is over 551, Broduer with 688. That's HUMANGOUS. No one will touch his Shutout Record either him and Sawchuk are the only ones with over 100 and he has 124 to Sawchuk's 103. The next guy on the list is George Hainsworth who's last season in the league was 1936.

Not a record, but we will never again see a junior hockey player make Team Canada over NHL players like we did in 1991 when Steve Yzerman was cut for an Oshawa General in Eric Lindros.
Not Crosby, not McDavid, nobody could pull that off again.
