Eriksson is an incredible get for Boston, and the trade makes a ton of sense for them for where they are in terms of being contenders, but this is a really good deal for Dallas too. They got a 21 year old center with all-star potential without having to give up any of their top prospects.
I just don't understand anyone saying either team didn't make out pretty well, this is like the definition of a win-win to me.
Stuff like "Of course I wasn't going to ****ing produce if I get played on the third line" just went off on Carlyle as a coach.
Obviously super unprofessional and not the smartest things to be saying, but seeing the numbers getting thrown around now its actually insane how Grabovski was used last year in relation to previous years.. Like legitimately put in a situation where it would have been almost impossible to produce any points at all.
wow. I dunno about the seguin move. kid is 21 and is a 60+point producer. wish we could of got our hands in the pot lol
Dallas moved an asset to get someone to play with Jaime Benn for a long time. We don't have that kind of luxury. The only piece we have that would land Seguin is the player we would want Seguin to play with for the future.
