Coburn is still valued around the league I believe. The rumors prove it as well. They say there is teams trying to convince us to let him go, not Homer selling him around. Just because he has a down year in a lockout shortened season, I don't think GM's are that hesitant to make the move.

Any day is fun with booze.

I'm probably going to be going with like 20 people.

I believe it's free too? I would probably go next year if I don't have anything going on but it won't be a big time priority for me.

I would probably stay for the first round and bounce.

JVR isn't doing anything more than he did with his. Bob has had 1 good season and now wants 6 mill?!? Versteeg, he did his best work before he got to us and Florida and Toronto. Coburn may be a victim of the cap. Mez is too injury prone and Grossmann is a physical guy that we need.

Well never been to one, so it's all new for me. And like Shafer said I'll probably go with 10 buddies, drinking and having a good time talking hockey. Nothing sucks about that.

Since I'm in the area, I might be forced into doing some stuff with the HF crew. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I won't be able to enjoy it as much.

I will say that that Xfinity bar area will be buzzing with people eating and drinking and enjoying the day.

In June, I'd rather just be drinking outside by the lake instead of being cooped up inside an arena

You can go to the lake any weekend during the summer. Not every day is the NHL draft in Philly.

Thats pretty unfair, more likely then not, Nurse wanted Mcnabb there for his big day.

not a fan at all, rather have just moved coburn for a later first and kept our 11th. 2 first round picks in this draft woulda been huge.

Eh...

If we traded Coburn for the 7th we'd likely be taking a winger and a defensemen with 7 and 11.

We just get a higher pick and expedite the wing process by getting MPS.

Not the biggest fan of MPS, but I think that's roughly the same as Coburn for the 7th. That works.

Any trade where we don't get mind-blowing value for Coburn is going to be a "meh" from me.

If Coburn could somehow land us Nurse, I'll be a happy camper

Isn't this the same trade that was rumoured yesterday, but rejected since we were believed to go after someone else than MPS?

I've come to the conclusion that Nurse and Risto won't be on the board at #11. I'd bite the bullet and do it if that is EDM's final offer.

Not a fan of Pulock or Zadorov?

I like both a lot (especially Zad), but I think Nurse and Risto have such high ceilings. I'd hate to lose out on them after the season we've had.

Not at #11, no way, trade down with Columbus or Buffalo.

I'm not.

I've come to the acceptance that...

Coburn + Zadorov/Pulock

is lesser than

Nurse/Ristolainen + MPS

Darnell's father was a pro athlete. Hear Darnell's comment about McNabb this week? Said he has an adjoining room with him, McNabb was talking so much to him Nurse had to close the adjoining door. McNabb is a clown. Can't wait to see him on stage hamming it up.
