San Jose Sharks have traded TJ Galiardi to Calgary for a draft pick.
Wonder what pick it was... nothing higher than a 3rd or 4th I hope.

EDIT: Apparently it's a 4th. Perfect. I love this trade.

Feaster sometimes has some questionable trades but this is a solid move.

Galiardi has speed. That's about it. Fair trade if San Jose ends up signing someone better.

Not bad. I've always liked him for some reason.

So we got Brodie and Galiardi. We just need Oshie now. And if possible, we need to find a TJ -owski in some obscure college league

Former Hitmen. Calgary native. Scored 15 goals with Colorado a few years back, so he can score if he's given the minutes, which he could possibly get here. 6'2, 190 lbs. Big body, fast skater.

I like the player, but I don't like moving in so many bodies without moving any out. How are we going to get all of our guys into the lineup that we want there?

Is Galiardi on a two-way or one-way deal?

EDIT:

To answer my own question, he's an RFA. Looks like the pick is a fourth, by the way.

I like this trade for the Flames.

A hometown boy that can play some solid 3rd line minutes and on the penalty kill.

25 years old
skates well
3rd line LW
6'2, 195
1.0+ hits per game over the past 3-4 years
32 pts per 82 games through his career

effective energy player with wheels, not physical but not soft either. will produce moderately.

May have been linemates with Jones in Colorado

Now is he going to be used on the 3rd line? Because he played well as the physical grinder on San Jose's top line. Maybe Glen-Camm-Galiardi...swap Barts and Glen if you like
