I don't have any real opinion on the player, thought he looked better in the U-18 than some people seem to describe him as, but it's too small a sample to really form an opinion. Can't help but like his size, of course. So far so good.
I literally don't understand how anyone can have any other opinion than yours.

No, I'm not impressed, but he's not a bad pick. We just won't know for another few years.

The remaining players are more similar and he could come away with a great haul overall.

Trust Timmins.
Googling him a while ago I found a few different articles expecting him to go late first.

So we picked a big guy who is a terrible fighter? Kinda like O'Byrne.

People seem to forget that Lucic was picked right after a Habs pick so... not twice! (Bryan Maxwell)

Saw a lot of Mike McCarron at WU17 and in Ann Arbor. Soft hands and impressive wheels for his size. #canadiens #pndraft

Mike McCarron tells me he will talk with #Habs before making final decision on London #Knights or WMU #Broncos

the very good news in all of this is that we finally have a development team to help him along - unlike previous regime. if he tops out as a 6'6 3rd line banger who pots 15 goals so what?

we have drafted A LOT of skill and speed in the last couple of years....

hudon, kristo, collberg...etc

Dallas is hoping they chose the right PWF and I have serious doubts about that move. A player that should be 2nd slid to 10 th OV and one supposed to be 29th taken 25th hmmm.

No, Milan Lucic at 18 woudl've destroyed him in a fight. Hopefully, he'll learn how to handle that part of the game with the Hunter brothers in London in the next couple of years.

at 6'6" 237lbs, he can score but won't be elite. We will have to wait and see. Picking at #25, you can take a risk.

Every first round pick from Trevor Timmins has played in the NHL. So don't write McCarron off.

Pull up the Hamilton roster. Will you find a player like him on it?

Look at Seth Jones going @ 4. The three teams above drafted on need. We don't need any more 5' 10" 180 pound forwards. We have enough.

And all I remember was the love for big tough guys who can play hockey. Now that we draft one, nothing but angst and teeth gnashing.

I remember when we picked PK Subban. Nobody [If not the majority] disliked the pick. Let's stop judging and wait a little while.

Bergeron drafts his Bickell. Hopefully he's the playoff version.
