And I'll be concentrating on everybody...but with an additional touch for defense. 'Cause that's where we're headed in the upcoming draft. At least, we'll add 2 or 3 more. Hoping from the bruising type.

Happy to see that I'm not the only one who likes Jared McCann. REally really liked what I saw from him at the U-17 in Victo. My favorite player from the Ontario team not named McDavid.

In a previous post I said he will be a solid 2nd-line C. I have to add, IMO, that that is at the minimum. Watching him progress will make the upcoming season very interesting. Happy to see the McCann fandom here as well.

Lots of depth on D with Neill, Léveillé, Bahl, Deschamps, Carrier and Leblanc.

Forward group is pretty thin outside of the top3 of Audette, Aubé-Kubel and Pépin. Maybe Bishop, but still way too early for me to target other guys.

Couple of interesting goaltenders in Bureau and Bilia. Could add the huge Flinn who got traded to Québec a few weeks ago at the 'Q draft.

Sweden has a lot of good players for this draft, Forsbacka-Karlsson, Nylander and defenders whom the names slip my mind.
He's 2015, isn't he?

Get to some Bathurst games. McDonald could be a top-60 pick next year.

As you said, Léveillé is 2015, late birthday

Was about to mention McDonald as well. Great freshman year in 2012-2013. Hope he sees more ice next year.

He will start backup to Graham, and will start about 7-8 games in the first 20, then Graham will have some bad game and Billia will take his spot to finish the year with about 40-45 start.

Interesting. Yeah, I was really surprised when Chicoutimi traded for Graham. I thought it was going to be Billia's team with Gibson leaving.

Yeah, I tought the same thing. Don't understand this move but it's not a bad thing to have 2 good goalies to start the year when one doesnt have a lot of experience.

I see him rocking up the charts. Smart kid, shows up when needed, good overall game, very physical already.

Same for Haydn Fleury. Kid progressed very quickly, should be a top 15 guy this year.

Nikolaj Ehlers and Marcus Pettersson are two other intriguing kids from Europe.

Connor Beackley from Red Deer is another to keep an eye on. Big two-way center who was great at the U17 in Drummondville

You have to think D prospects will be selected this year since we took all of 1 in the last 2 drafts.

Have been raving about this kid for a few years now! He is the REAL DEAL and im almost willing to bet a 6pack that goes in the top 15.

I really really like Chase De Leo, undersized but very skilled and fearless. Bit of an annoying player on the ice. Tons similar to Gallagher.

And that one pick is far from being a lock. Not that great of a year for Thrower. Agreed with you on next year possibly going all out on D's. Lucky we have some good depth for now

I agree with both of you.

As of now, I have seen these guys listed as high end prospects and all defenders.

Top 10 defenseman(obviously it will change come next draft):
1. Anthony DeAngelo: Right Handed, 5'11" and 170 pounds.
2. Haydn Fleury: Left Handed, 6'3" and 205 pounds.
3. Brycen Martin: Left handed, 6'1" and 180 pounds.
4. Jack Glover: Right Handed, 6'3" and 185 pounds.
5. Joshua Jacobs: Right Handed, 6'2" and 190 pounds.
6. Jacob Middleton: Left Handed, 6'3" and 195 pounds.
7. Jordan Thomson: Right Handed, 5'11" and 175 pounds.
8. Adam Ollas Mattsson: Left handed, 6'4" and 210 pounds.
9. Brandon Prophet: Left Handed, 6'2" and 200 pounds.
10. Julius Bergman: Right Handed, 6'1" and 195 pounds.

I ranked them based on rankings I saw and mock drafts. The only one I have actually seen play is DeAngelo. This should just give us an idea of who should or could be within our range come next year.

I left out Aaron Ekblad and Roland McKeown since i hope Montreal has no chance of drafting high enough to get them.

I saw a lot of them but didn't concentrate on any of them as my concentration went solely to this year's prospects...Having said that, everytime I saw his team, the guy I didn't want to concentrate on but I kept seeing was Haydn Fleury. Can't wait to see him this upcoming year.

Middleton should be a good one on D. As with McCann up front.

I think I worded my comment badly. I saw them but didnt concentrate on them at all so dont really have an opinion on them. Same as you maybe not as much.

DeAngelo looks like something special but might not really fit into Montreals direction well. Small defender but very skilled offensively.
