Seeing as I am only 19 I am going by players I have seen play because seeing only hilights of players isn't a fair evaluation of a players greatness and I'm not putting Gretzky on the list just because.

In no particular order:

Sundin, Lemieux, Sakic, Brodeur, Nidermayer, Leetch, Thornton, Yzerman, Jagr, Federov

You know what's a crying shame about this. We never got to see the talented Russian players of the 70s and 80s play in the NHL. Yeah, we saw Larionov, Fetisov, etc....when they were really on the downside of their careers, but it would have been something to see them here as rookies and then watch them hit their prime.

As what Gretz said, Fetisov was probably the greatest defensemen he ever played against and Larionov had probably the best vision outside of Gretz. Who knows, maybe Larionov could have given Gretz a run for his gun during the wide open game of the 80s

1. Wayne Gretzky-I swear sometimes the game was like his own little fishbowl, he just PWNED it, and all ive seen is highlights
2.Matt Cooke - This guy does everything well, ok he doesnt fight, I dont like fighting anyways.
3. Todd Bertuzzi/Markus Naslund - They have both had many impressive, entertaining years.
5. Brendan Morrison - Great underrated player, improved immensely over the years to a guy that can put up numbers even without amazing linemates
6. Marian Hossa - Just an exciting player, I love the way he challenges the D-men
7. Jovanovski - a player who makes this happen, makes things exciting. When his team really needs him(IE. Playoffs last two years) he's one of the best players on the ice
8. Linden - I never saw him in his prime, but I love what he's done for the community, how he still goes hard and I like what he's doing in the CBA negotiations, as I hear
9.Rick Nash - Most complete player to come out of juniors I've seen
10. Nikolai Zherdev - watch out

I'm sure Crosby will be on this list sooner than later. I love the way he plays.

1. Luc Robitaille (epitomizes what a King, or NHL player for that matter, should be)
2. Kelly Hrudey (performed amazingly behind some really bad kings d-squads)
3. Rob Blake (followed him since out of Bowling Green)
4. Bernie Nicholls (not a fluke)
5. Tomas Sandstrom (underrated european forward, all-time)

6. Pavel Bure (the most entertaining hockey player ever)
7. Roberto Luongo (my favorite up and coming starter)

8. Paul Kariya (1/2 of my favorite duo ever)
9. Teemu Selanne (other 1/2 of my favorite duo ever)
10. Jean-Sebastien Giguere (2nd favorite up and coming starter)

Brad Richards (all brains; Joe Sakic Version 2.0)
Peter Forsberg (most frightening, uncontainable opposing forward i have witnessed)
Sandis Ozolinsh (is a more complete defenseman than given credit for)

The look on Guy's face, creating art for our enjoyment, being screwed out of money ($180k a year during his prime), the shy common man with the once in a lifetime package, never raising his stick or taking the spotlight.

Its bad karma to make fun of that kind of a person like you are doing.
