This is true, they do actually do work to report news but it all seems to come from the players, and especially the agents, so you get one side of the news/story constantly, they also seem to create news/opinions that benefits their sources. You help me I will help you. I.e. claiming tanev's camp can see this dragging on through training camp. Thats them getting the agents word out to the masses so tanev fans put pressure on gillis, and also let everyone know tanevs camp is prepared to sit until they get what they want. The wierioch comment was very strange. Like they passed on the agents comments because he wanted fans to identify tanev with wiercioch and understand tanev camps point of view.

As far as i know I have never seen them have sources or get comments from canuck managements side.

I hope Tanev doesn't miss training camp. Players generally have a tough time if they don't make training camp.

Highly doubt Tanev misses camp.

@VanCanucks: Media Release: #Canucks have re-signed defenceman Yann Sauve.

What a waste!! My initial thoughts minus the profanity.

Why a Canucks contract? Utica could and should have signed him and demoted his butt back to Kalamazoo.

Hard to say how he looked off stats, but it seems he produced in Kalamazoo, maybe confidence will help him?

Not holding my breath....I'm not sure why they keep going to that well.

Why would Sauve have signed a deal with Utica?

Canucks retained his rights by giving him a QO, an NHL deal, otherwise he would've been free to go off and sign with whatever team he wanted, be that an NHL team willing to take a gamble on a 'free pick', or an AHL team elsewhere. I don't see where the motivation would be for him to sign up in that scenario with a team that would've shown him a clear sign that they've largely given up on his development by not offering one of their own 2nd round picks a QO.

And once you've given the guy a qualifying offer, he'd be pretty foolish not to sign it and have himself an NHL deal as opposed to an AHL one.

Schroeder re-signed according to Hosea.

@hosea24hours: The #Canucks announce they have re-signed centre Jordan Schroeder.
