Viktor Stalberg FA destination

http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/blac...to-test-market

Pretty clear with cap going down that Hawks were not bringing him back and His and Q relationship is other clear reason he wont be back

So what teams likely will be in mix for him? He believes he is a top 6 talent and wants to sign with a team who gives him top 6 chance

Nashville would be a good fit for Stalberg

The Sharks have his younger brother and a need for forwards. Though they never sign good FAs so it's a bit of wishful hoping.

This is the guy I want the Flames to snag. He reminds me of a less gritty Glencross right before he broke out.

He backchecks, you don't want him. He'd ruin the culture.

I could see the Leafs getting in on bringing him back if Clarkson shoots for the moon. Leafs have a pair of holes to fill on RW, and I could see Stalberg fitting in well.

Don't think he'd fit well into the Jets system, he's soft as butter.

Wouldn't have mind having him in back in Toronto if we had the room.

Would love him on the Flames, but we don't have a spot for him now.

Calling it now, Cabucks (if they have the capspace that is). They need help and he's a speedy swede, perfect fit, no?

Or the Blue Jackets could sign him since he tend to score a billion goals against them.

You need butter to make bread, you need bread to feed your players. You need players to win; get Stalberg and you win . Simple logic at its finest. Am I the only one who knows math in here? Jeez... .

would be a great fit on the

him and etem on a line would be scary

plus we have no need for Staubitz and maroon is a beauty 4th liner , stalberg can play with top 6 fwds based on his speed that and id take him as a less expensive and more leathel option than selanne (assuming he retires)

What exactly does he think he's worth that Chicago can't pay it?

What does the board think hes worth?

He thinks he is entitled to a top 6 role + cap hit that falls between 2-3M at least

He is getting neither from Hawks

yes, temmu's slowing down, i mean 24 points is solid, stalberg had one less point and he played on the 3rd and 4th line... plus his speed is much like selanne's. Stalbergs a better option now over temmu, all Im saying he'd be a great fit if selanne retires that or comes back and wants 4.5 million(which is what he made last season.)

I think the sharks would be interested as long as he isn't out for a major payday. He would most likely be in a top 6 roll on either Thornton or coutures line.
