Is anyone else confused about Iginlas Worth these days?

Im not sure who this player is right now. Was he a good player on a bad team? Was he just that badly misused in Pittsburgh? He was virtually invisible in a Penguins uniform. im not just sure what hes got left and what hes worth at this stage in his career after his failed stint with the Penguins.

I'd give him 15M$ on a 3 years deal on the Habs.

He wants to go to a contender. A team whos 1st line center is Desharnais isn't winning a cup in Iggys remaining years.

It depends on him. In this year where the cap went down so drastically, the best teams are all mashed up against the cap. If Iginla really wants an ideal situation, LA is it. But LA would have to move a third liner to fit him in and the only expendable one gets paid 750K. If Iggy wants to come, he'll need to take around that.

Interesting to see the Canucks on his list of 4 teams. I can't see how we could fit him though and we should probably be looking more at youth.

If Scuderi leaves, The Kings have about 3 mil in cap space assuming the RFAs get signed to reasonable deals

almost invisible? wasn't he almost PPG with pittsburgh in the regular season and a leading scorer through two rounds of the playoffs?

Iginla is three years older, so I'm not sure about that.

Iggy needs to think outside the box, the Pens were an obvious choice by him but it didn't work out.

He should look at some up and coming teams that are getting closer where he would fit in - think NYI alongside John T. and Moulson or Anaheim on the 2nd line where he wouldn't face the other teams top D pairings.

I don't know why but I think he'll end up in Pitsburgh, maybe outside shot at LA.
