Line Combo Time.. again.

What would everyone's lines be w/out Palffy, without Allison, and without Deadmarsh? (W/out Carter as well.)

I figure this is the only fun thing to do around HF since there's no NHL? Good Lord its boring around here.

I've never spent so much time in the Lounge in my life.

Obviously it depends how all the players do in training camp, and what UFAs (if any) will be signed. I'm working under the assumption no UFAs are signed and all players are healthy (haha!)

Frolov - Conroy - Cammalleri
Combination of speed, veteran leadership, youth, size and skill. Would also excel defensively.

Straka - Barney - Brown
Not as much experience or defensive awareness, but Straka's speed can help with that. He's got a couple big guys who can hold their own down the middle and along the wing; Barney can score when he's healthy, but Brown still needs to show he can at the NHL level. That's why Cammalleri's got first line duty over him.

Robitaille - Armstrong - Klatt
It worked well enough as our second line. Enough said.

Cowan/Flinn - Belanger - Avery
I think Belanger and Avery would work really well. Plus you have the obligatory tough guy in Cowan/Flinn along with Avery who's... you know, Avery.

Norstrom - Corvo/Grebeshkov
Norstrom does a two man job defensively, as both Corvo and Grebeshkov suck defensively, but excel offensively.

Visnovsky - Gleason
Gleason's got size and speed; Visnovsky's got smarts and skill. Gleason has the potential to be a good two-way player, if he was more discriminate with when he would go on the attack. Until he learns, he's got Visnovsky to cover for him.

Miller - Dempsey
Another spread of defensive awareness with offensive ability. Miller could earn more ice time if I was more confident in his health, and if he didn't tank at the end of last season. Dempsey is decent either way, but doesn't excel in either.

Cechmanek
Garon
It's apparent Garon doesn't have the stamina to be a #1 in the NHL, yet. But at least he'll keep Cechmanek honest, knowing it's his job to lose.

pretty much like it, but here's mine

Frolov-ufa-Palffy I know don't use Palffy, but he is our guy
Luc-Conroy-Brown
Cowan-Belanger-Avery
Klatt-Barney-Flinn I know Barney is not a center, but too bad, make him learn

Norstorm-Lubo
Miller-Dempsey
Quintal-Corvo
Work in Gleason-Grebs

I like the idea of a physical d-men mixed with a offensive d-men. I would always keep it like that. Even when Gleason is ready to be a #1 guy I would never put Gleason and Nordstorm on the same line. Would be nice to see Karlsson play the second line. Add some muscle. I can always dream at this point.

Someone please get rid of Holland. He sucks and thats not going to change. He's not an NHLer.

Would also be nice to see Grebs become a #1 d-men with Nordstom in the future. Then have Gleason and LUbo on the second line. Followed by Petiot on the third.

What would be better for Kings fans is to post the All Injured Team

Dave Taylor / Jason Allison / Deader

etc etc

Buddy, I've been in LA a couple times...I won't use the word "boring" being there.

I can't wait to be at Staples again next winter...
And talking with the players at El Segundo
And skating on the beach at Venice and Santa Monica
And going to drink something at Sharkeez's...

Nice memories...I'm sooooo envious of all of you

I'm envious of where you're at. Serie A is all i've been able to watch all year, thanks to the NHL. Usually, I watch both, but hockey I get live in person. I actually went to a baseball game this year, that's how pathetic my life has been without the NHL. Sorry, about Atalanta if you're a fan. Milan also ended sad, and they practically ran Liverpool off the field...........Good thing i've been a Juventino my whole life!

I like your lines, just except, switch Brown and Frolov around, then it's cool.

I think it would be ideal to have a second line made up of our young guys. Like Brown-Lehoux/Camy-Barney/Tukonwn. Something like that, really what I want is to have the first line to be an "Allstar" line. Whether it be Frolov-UFA-Palffy-(please resign the dude). And then have the young talent fight for the second line. That's what I'd like to see.

I thought Frolov and conroy should be seperated and Klatter spreads out the talent to role 4 lines

Lines I would want to see once we start playing hockey again:

Frolov-Conroy-Palffy
Straka-Cammalleri-FA to join these 2
Luc-Army-Klatt
Cowan(Kostopolous/Brown)-Belanger-Avery

Nostrom-Lubo
Miller-Dempsey
Gleason-Quintal/Corvo

Chechmanek/Garon

I'm not sure if we can do this because I don't know what our payroll would look like...
