2 need to be gone. And Brière needs to be gone as soon as a third comes up from Hamilton. Gallagher is going nowhere.

I hear you, but I don't want him at his size, age and declining production. Not to mention he snubbed us once, but wont factor that in.

I think Iginla would be tough to sign. He is an aging star who still hasn't got a cup. Could see him wanting to sign with a contender.

I could see him sign in Mtl. The main reason why he didn't the last time is not there anymore (wifey), he just invested many dollars in a business venture in Gatineau, and he would make his buddies at Marc Sports in Gatineau go bonkers hehehe.

I think Bergevin is positioning the Habs for the Connor MacDavid.

I don't either. I want to go after youth and size. But I would not throw a fit if he was cheap and short-term.

Bergevin doing his due diligence in plain view of the French media. He's not going to sign this guy but he has to kick tires enough to make it look like he's a buyer.

I hate him but

Briere now tied with Zetterberg with 95 playoff points since the lockout - the most of anyone. Crosby third, Datsyuk fourth, Malkin fifth.

THE BEST THING EVER BY SIGNING BRIERE

He'd be the first player signed by the Habs, who gets booed on his first shift, at home.

I liked his game. I reviewed all his goals on NHL.com. How he hides in back of the net. How he'll sneak into the lip of the crease. I worked on my game using some of those tricks... The problem is he's slowed down. He isn't the player he once was. He can't do the same things he did 5 years ago... He's lost some of his quickness, his goals are more sparse, and he hasn't grown... What's the purpose?

I wouldn't have minded Vinny, but let's not sign Briere please. I will be super pissed when next year we could sign someone else instead of having Briere still on the team.

If a Montreal GM feels pressured by the fans and let them influence his decision, he shouldn't be the Montreal Canadiens GM.

Bergevin doesn't care what we think about what he does.

Costs less to feed and clothe. Maybe it's a logistics thing with Montreal. If they sign enough midgets they might be able to get kids meals at restaurants and ask for discounts on flight charters because of fuel savings.

I'm almost beginning to think that.

Just like how he talked to every other GM during the draft, just to show he's trying.
