Munster is excellent. Cheddar, however, doesn't melt all that well and tends to get oily.

Colby Jack (or just Colby or just Monterey Jack) also work well.

We'll have many years ahead of us filled with beer-fueled rampages taking place at scattered New England beaches in between trips to sunny, beautiful Edmonton.

Sounds like a recipe for success if there ever was.

So excited...next 7 weeks are going to be incredibly crazy, but very fun and memorable.

So here's the scoop. (In case you don't know, I work for an airline, and can fly for free, just paying taxes when going International.)

Tomorrow I'm doing a day trip to Seattle. Never been to the city, and am going to watch the Red Sox tomorrow night at Safeco.

Friday I leave for Tokyo, connecting in Seattle. Going for about 2 days with a few friends from work. My first time in Tokyo.

I get back from Tokyo on Monday, and then leave with more friends for a day trip to San Francisco on Tuesday. Great city.

Planning another trip in about two weeks back home to Maine, to see some family.

Beginning of August, I've got a flight down to Melbourne, Australia with a friend to spend 3 days. This trip was unexpected, but I got a great deal on a confirmed ticket so I had to do it.

End of August I've got another trip to Australia planned, this time Sydney for 3 days. This trip's been in the works for a long time, and I plan to do everything I can in Sydney.

So...all together, these trips will run about 58,000 miles in the next 7 weeks. The international flights will all be in Business Class, and the total cost for all these trips will be...$300 or so for total airfare.

Crazy, like I said. I'll be working a TON in between those trips to make up for off days. I'll be real tired, but it'll be worth it. I'll try and chronicle the trips with pictures on here.

I'm about to make tea so I will use that.

My mascara's in the trash to be on the safe side.

I also bought gel tears and that has helped make the eyelash sensation go away thankfully.

I have to see the eye dr. anyway at some point for my regular exam so if it isn't better by Wednesday (day 5) I'll give the office a call to get an appointment.

I just checked Directv's channel lineup. I think they referred to Time Warner Sports Network.

Why do I succeed really well in short term goals, but really, really, REALLY suck at long term ones?

I know the answer would just seem to be split my long term goals up, but I still know the ultimate goal is so far off, tough to stay motivated.

Do you set intentions?
Do you lose sight of the goal? sometimes a predetermined notion of what "reaching a goal" is suppose to look like can suffocate you.

the power comes from being present to any "old stories" that get you off track--in other words...if the same failure begets you again and again...you have to examine the behavior around that goal....THAT is the thing that needs to change, not the goal.

for instance......say you say "I really want to get a promotion and own a house. yet, every time you go after your promotion thoughts of being "not good enough" crop of, or fear of adding more work. So you create behavior that leads you to not get your promotion. Those things are triggers and they get you stuck in old behaviors.

Fear keeps is from everything and it sabotages us with familiar behavior.

A manager at my old job said it best. The second a customer uses "the customer is always right line", it's because they are wrong and know it.

I'm sure you've had many worse customers though. Plus, I used to love those interactions when I did retail. Nobody was gonna ruin MY day just cuz they're miserable turds
