Stauffer is 100% right.

Roy needs to play at least 35 games in OKC. Bachman is the starter for sure though.

Solid signing, Wasn't he the backup to Karri Lehtonen last year?

For what its worth, he becomes a solid starting goalie in NHL 13 Be a GM.

Solid signing, he looked pretty good behind Lehtonen and had some decent ability IIRC.

Labarbera and him I guess duke it out to be back up to Dubnyk.

For those who want a scouting report, this is what the The Hockey News had to say:

http://forecaster.thehockeynews.com/...layer.php?5856

Sounds like a reasonable signing.

Solid pick-up for you guys. Bach's has always been looked down upon (pun intended) for his short stature, but he makes the best of it and is usually calm and calculated.

Stauffer has been right on the money about each signing this year. That wasn't always the case before. Funny how his accurate prediction of transactions directly coincided with Howson's return.

I'm unfamiliar with Bachmans work. I recall him, I've seen him play, but my limited database memory retrieval isn't remembering as much..

"Prediction"
1. The act of predicting.
2. Something foretold or predicted; a prophecy.

No predictions here...just a corporate shill.

Wasn't Bachman the goaltender that kept getting lit up by the Flames last season on the second half of back-to-back games?

My use of the word prediction was strictly tongue-in-cheek.

The one and the same. Looked pretty shaky in 2 losses to the Flames.

The replacement for Yann Danis I presume. Well, that's done.

Not sure, I remember the mask more. I think I saw Bachman in NHL and AHL last season. Pretty sure I did. Seem to recall an AHL streamed game where they started showing the mask, talking about it.

Bachman isn't a good goaltender. Danis was/is much better but I assume they wanted to move on/couldn't sign Danis again so they had to look elsewhere.

Labarbera/Bachman are both below average and I'd hoped they'd get a little better backup to push Dubnyk.

It is what it is though, and yes this is an OKC move so not "major" but goaltending beyond Dubnyk is a weakness now in the org and these signings have done nothing to address that.

Should fill in for him just fine at the AHL level. Seems like the right fit.

Really fits MacT's M.O. this offseason. Solid, if unspectacular, pickup who can excel at his proper depth position.

Hopefully if our defense improves noticeably this year, we'll get more attention from up-and-coming FA goalies. LaBarbera and Bachman scare no one.
