What about Samuel Dalembert, he's the big Montreal centre they've needed for ages

We already have enough top 6 wingers, Bourque, Gionta, Gallagher and Pacioretty. All we need to get now is either a 3rd line winger or a 4th line winger(if Prust plays on the 3rd line with Eller and Chuckie).

And a crease-clearing Defenseman: Fistric?Murray??

yea that works if u wanna make prust a top 9, wouldnt be too bad. but then we'd need 2+ 4th liners
that being said if anyone in our top 9 gets injured were pretty ****ed rofl, i guess we could always call collberg up but that lineup doesnt have alot of depth..

The giant teddy bear usually lacks the tools that the smurf uses to make up for his lack of size -- i.e. speed & agility. That's why guys like Kristian Kudroc and Mathieu Biron didn't last in the league, their size could never nullify their lack of skills...

That's what we need, not a C.

If it was up to me, I'd look at the forward chart like this:

Pacioretty - Plekanec - Gallagher
Galchenyuk - Eller - (opening)
Bourque - Desharnais - Gionta
Moen - (opening) - Prust
White - (opening)

So we'd need a top 6 winger, a fourth line center, and an extra forward (preferably an enforcer).

I'd target Gordon for the 4th C and that would make that line very competitive and defensively responsible. He's not physical but can be trusted to be on the ice, good in the dot, and a strong PKer. McGrattan would be a good option as the extra forward enforcer. The top 6 winger position would be hard to fill but there are many options.

Clarkson ain't coming to Montreal unless there's major moucho overpayment. Stop daydreaming. Bergevin has repeated gzillion times he's not the type to splurge galore in the ufa market. Why aren't you guys listening to him?

Assets: Is capable of scoring goals in bunches. Has good offensive instincts and NHL wheels. Not very big, he can be a very industrious and gritty forward--and is tougher than he looks.

Flaws: Must always bear down in order to become more consistent from game to game. Can still suffer from losing his focus. It won't hurt to keep getting stronger, since he's undersized.

How about Komisarek at a cheap price for 1 season while Emelin is injured to play with Markov?
