I'd rather Grabo over Briere.

I'm not sure if the Habs sign another free agent tomorrow or not, but they're still scouring the trade market. Can't imagine they're done.

Hopefully he's right.

Free agency period
Trade deadline
Draft day

The worst time to visit this board lol

Briere certainly wasn't my first choice, don't even think he was a possibility actually. So i'll reserve judgement until later in the summer

I can't imagine the Habs and Bergevin don't have a plan here...I do think we're going to see some significant roster player(s) moved over the next few hours/days.

I think the Briere signing will look a lot better then

I can't help but think of that Plekanec for C.Stewart proposal a Blues fan made not too long ago.

Stewart's toughness would look pretty good right aboot now.

I love Stewart and I've wanted the Habs to get him for years now, but you can't trade Pleks unless someones coming back who plays the same role.

Yes, and then Briere can play against the top lines...not! Horrible move but no surprise. Prust is puking now as he has another smurf to babysit.

Unless you feel Eller is ready. I think Pleks value is higher than Stewart's though.

So....how reliable is the fourth period cause....

Meanwhile, the Canadiens are also working the trade wire, as GM Marc Bergevin is looking to add another goal-scorer and a top-four defenseman.

The Habs have had conversations with the St. Louis Blues about left wing David Perron and the Vancouver Canucks about defenseman Alexander Edler.

Better not mean Plekanec. He is more valuable than both them.

Are you guys kidding about trading Plekanec now? Carey will have the worst stats in the league of we try Briere-DD as our top two centers.

Why not DD instead of Plekanek. DD + draft.

Perron is a winger. Also, it's 4th period - not credible at all.
