Not sure that additional 1.8 is enough to sign perhaps the top FA on the market.

I think they would have to consider moving Brassard for a cheap winger

Why would we move brassard when he was one of our more productive forwards in the playoffs and the end of the season?

What are they going to do with so many centers? Unless Richards or brassard is moving to wing or playing on the 4th line there is no way to play them all

Boyle or Richards would be used as a winger to make it a more deep team on which ever line is suited best

So w Powe and Ashram on waivers does that mean they are going to be bought out or just to see if anyone will pick them up?

And Richards is the ? line center, and Grabovski would be the ? line center?

If you go after grabovski, you pretty much have to move brassard, he's the only center they can move (apart from Boyle, but he could be a bottom 6 wing too)

Both would have to play wing if they got grabovski

You're right, Boyle would be. Don't think we want Richards playing on the 4th line again.

So I guess that means Powe and Ashem will be buried in the minors if there are no takers?

If so this is what the Rangers have going into the summer:

Kreider - Stepan - Nash
Hagelin - Richards - MZA
Pyatt?/UFA - Brassard - Callahan
UFA - Boyle - Dorset

Add Nystrom and Raymond bounce Pyatt

To be buried in the minors, they'd have to clear waivers in October. Doing this today is just trying to dump contracts.

Yup, Sather will be signing an enforcer tomorrow, no doubt. It's a July tradition. Can't wait to see which lumbering goon will be slowing down our 4th line.

With the Grabo buyout, Leafs can load on up David Clarkson perhaps, possibly re-sign Tyler Bozak, lots of options for them.
Clarkson would be a good fit.
