Just not enough... Oilers would only consider Lucic for Ebs probably... not saying Bs do it especially with Horton now gone... but picks and prospects do nothing for EDM

The only way I would've traded Eberle to Boston was if Seguin was involved, now there really not good trade partners

If the Oilers are moving a piece as significant as Jordan Eberle, they will be expecting an impact player in return who can come in and make an immediate difference. The value of this trade may be relatively close but at this point in time it doesn't make any sense for Oilers to move a player of Eberle's caliber for picks and prospects.

Not too much I think it's fair, and if anything, Boston adds

It should be a quality for quality trade if we're talking Eberle.

Bruins can't do this unless they move significant salary.

But I can't see Edmonton making this trade when they are trying to make the playoffs this season.

Bruins don't give up enough.

Bruins also couldn't do this deal as there is no way they could add a 6 million dollar player without shipping at least that much money out.

IF they Bruins were looking to make the type of deal you suggest (Subban, Koko, and a #1), they would have to look for someone on their entry level contract in return, as they couldn't afford more

Lucic for Perron + Musil or N.Schultz

Musil is a perfect fit for the B's!

Edmonton doesn't need picks or prospects.

Especially if they're as questionable as Subban.

Lucic is a better fit. Boston laughs and hangs up

Can't be giving up a player like Eberle and not be getting a significant roster player back.

Guys like him or Yakupov would only be traded for a 1D. Otherwise, trading them just doesn't make sense.

Subban isn't quality. He's a goalie prospect with mediocre numbers. More than likely, he'll bust, like most goalies. Way too much stock in his name at this point.

Simply no desire to trade proven for future, we've done that for years.

It's time to make the playoffs, and we are going to need to add more proven players still not subtract them.
