The only news I've heard about the royal baby is the people whining about it, so I think I've done an incredible job avoiding the actual news.

Hope your dad gets well. My dad had back surgery about 5 years back as well. They went in the wrong side to correct a disc and its so invasive a surgery they wouldn't do it again. After that, he could barely walk. Make sure he stays on his meds.

Proud to say I didn't even know the royal baby had been born until you guys brought it up now. I think I heard something about it being due soon a few days ago but that's it. I don't give two ****s about any celebrity news in today's world, unless it's a celebrity that I actually like, usually a famous actor.

Saw a billboard announcing the royal baby's gender today.

One of my favorite memes, especially when I say it in the professor's voice.

Almost veered off the road in confusion/disbelief.

It had to be in 'Saint' Cloud. The birth is divine.

Would you rather know the royal baby's name or how many pounds Kim Kardashian has to go before Kanye will be in the same room with her again? Answers may be given in the form of punches.

For real? I'd send a postcard, that would get her attention

Taking Gophers advice, started watching Mad Men. Better than I remembered. Not great though, yet. But worth watching. I can't believe people would actually drink and smoke 90% of their waking lives though.

My father-in-law is having major back surgery next month. His second time with the same procedure but he needs it so badly.

Good luck to your dad with the recovery.

Nope. In fact I am downright annoyed with it. I don't get how anyone in America gets so infatuated with them. Didn't we fight a war sometime in the past because we were so fed up with British Royalty? Hmmm what was it called...it's on the tip of my tongue.

Oh yeah! The AMERICAN REVOLUTION.

Screw the Royal Family. Not literally of course because they're all ugly as sin.

There's much more important stuff to be reported than some royal baby popping out of some self-important womb.

No, we're complaining about everyone in the media gossping about people who have no real significance and are only famous because they belong to a bloodline that used to be truly powerful and pissed enough people off that that power got taken away.

Don't like the media, don't pay attention to it. Haven't sat down to watch or listen to the news in years. It's liberating.

i think someone is just jealous that royal baby was born more of a boss than they could ever hope to pretend to be.

Among the 5 most popular news articles on the biggest Finnish tabloid's website, three are related to the royal baby (#'s 1, 3 and 5). Mikko Koivu's engagement is #2 and #4 is an article on women listing the most common flaws in men. Sometimes I really wonder about this country...

You see, not THAT is some news I would like to hear about. Why has no one told me?!?!

Wait a minute, didn't he get engaged many months ago though? Now that I think about it, I wanna say I do recall hearing about it around the time his Becoming Wild episode came out.

I don't remember hearing about this before. Maybe you're mixing it up with the baby news? That came out sometime in the spring.

Maybe it was just news about him having a girlfriend, not getting engaged. She's Estonian right?

We had four mini power-outages within 10 minutes tonight. It's quite windy outside, so that could be the reason, but it was annoying when the TV and computers kept shutting down and restarting on their own.

Yeah, it's pretty windy here, too. Only thing it does is making it more difficult for me to light up my smoke. Meh.

Speaking of fashion, I tend to wear boots, blue jeans, t-shirt and a cap all year round. In summer, like now, I switch boots to trainers. Nobody has called me out on it yet.

In winter, I add a long-sleeved shirt under the t-shirt and wear a jacket on top of it. Forget the hoodie or a sweater, a proper jacket is the key to feeling warm in the winter. If you're feeling slightly cold while standing still, you know you're dressed properly.

Oh, and I always wear socks unless I'm at my friend's garage and wearing nothing but shorts and drinking beer while repairing/tuning cars.

Finally, one should always match their clothing to their hair style. Might sound gay, but it makes a world of difference.
