Considering I came into the game late, i'm very pleased with what I was able to do with Tampa. I completely overhauled a roster void of much depth and have 2 of most talented top 6 young lines in the NHL. Drouin-Barkov-Baertschi should be absolutely sick not only now, but even moreso once they get their feet wet in the NHL. The Saad-Lindholm-Forsberg line following it, should be no different. There will be some bumps in the road for a lineup that young, but I don't think there is a another top 6 that has that much 20 and under talent/skill in this entire league.

The 3rd line is just as good, when comparing it to others around the league. Bickell-Strome-Boyes is a wonderful combo. Bickell is a power forward who can get to the net and create problems in front of the net. Strome is a future #1/#2 C. He's that damn talented. And Boyes is a legit #2 scoring W on my 3rd line. Not many teams have that kind of skill and scoring prowess on their 3rd line.

The Defense has rounded out nice with 2 elite young players in Ryan Murray and Mathew Dumba. I was able to sign a valuable vet in Johnny Oduya and have even more toughness with Gudas on the 3rd line. Jake Gardiner is on his way to becoming one of the more gifted offensive defensemen in the NHL. Wiercioch is incredibly underrated already in a career that is surely going to get better.

This roster would be better if the forward agent hadn't abandoned his responsibilities, but here we are. Next time I'd like to run FA on my own so that the incompetence of others doesn't wreck the game. All facets of the team (and the defense in particular) are far better than what I started with, and I feel that this is a playoff roster.

Seems a bit harsh... who do you think you'd have gotten, guaranteed, versus other teams still getting them?

I'll have a roster up in an hour guys. Should be a top 5-10 team. I think I should be able to invest more time in next game, she's back home now.

I think this is a pretty solid team.

First line is more or less the same as the first line that brought the B's to within two games of a cup, with Krejci replaced by Kesler, who centers Lucic and Marchand.

Second line is a very big, physical, defensively responsible line that can score more than it's fair share of goals, with Bergeron centering Staal and Byfuglien.

Third line is a pain in the ass: Peverley, Talbot, and Shaw are all great pests who have a knack for scoring clutch goals in the playoffs.

Fourth line is a fourth line.

On defence, the Bruins are better than they were in the playoffs.

Chara and Bieksa makes up one of, if not THE, best pairings in this game, responsible defensively and efficient offensively.

Leddy and Daley is a pairing combining speed and puck movement with defensive prowess.

McQuaid and Boychuk reunites (I think) one of the best pairings from the Bruins playoff run.

Rask is God.

Khabi was God.

Vote you cockmallets.

not sure about payroll and space but should be pretty close although i didn't use a calculator l0l. got a much better bottom 6 than what i started with and a better top 6, managed to keep my core together as well. Defense is obviously pretty ******, but I had some moves in place to rectify that, just no one responded to me in time for trade deadline and moved those pieces anyways lol.

but yeah i'm pretty happy with how this turned out. don't expect this to be considered one of the best teams since you know everyone has made crazy moves that would never happen l0l, but i managed to build what i believe is a playoff team without making any crazy moves, and without sacrificing our core. I'd be quite happy if this is how the real jets ended up after the summer, although i highly doubt that. anyways yah.
