I have no problem with this considering his new coach is someone that likes him.

I thought this was a given.

I was worried at first and thought it meant he was leaving the camp early.

Collberg is at least 2 years away so playing against men in Sweden is a good thing next season

I would have loved to see him in Hamilton but this makes sense. Not surprised, I just hope he gets the TOI he deserves.

When does the season usually end in Sweden? Any chance of him joining the habs or bulldogs at the end of the year like this season? Would he be eligible for the playoffs?

Probably, as soderberg for boston came over after the european season to be a black ace for da booins.

It would be cool for him to get few games in hamilton after the euro season.

They did that last season, so I don't see why they wouldn't again.

Depends on whether he gets picked for the World Championships or not. The SEL playoffs normally end in mid-to-late April, though I doubt Frölunda have a team capable of going all the way to the final this season.

Barring potential national team commitments he should be able to go to North America sometime in mid-April.

That's good. New coach, and will get a lot more TOI than the last 2 years.

No problem with this. He'll likely get more playing time with the new coach and he'll be playing against men. I think a slow development for Collberg will benefit him greatly.

...maybe he just thinks we just have a too small team and will wait till we get bigger?
