Anyone else?

Really Really miss hockey?

Not much of a baseball fan and football hasn't really started yet. I find myself really missing the Bruins.

I miss hearing Jack Edwards and I miss all the team chemistry.

Dude, you don't even have to ask. I found myself watching a friendly the other night between the US and the Czech Republic.
Crazy bad withdrawal symptoms.
Not even my beloved Red Sox are getting me out of this one

I am pretty much a hockey only fan so I go through serious withdrawals over the summer.

This part if the summer is often the hardest-October just seems so far away.

hell yeah I miss hockey. I'm still not over that the Bruins lost the cup. Baseball is ok, I'll watch some games of the Red Sox here and there, especially if they're playing the Jays like tonight

Hockey is pretty much my only sport so I am missing it.

I went to rookie camp but that seems like a long time ago.

I have watched the B's 2011 cup DVD...again. I wish it had all of the stuff like when Looch and Rex stuck their fingers in the face of the Nuckleheads. Oh well that stuff is easy enough to find.

I am ready for the season to start. I got an email from the B's telling me to "save the date" for the meeting for STH in Sept.

sigh...there is nothing on TV...When does Game of Thrones start ?.

I actually am not missing it yet- maybe on another month but right now Im in baseball mode and getting revved up for football - hockey's my favorite sport but my third strongest sport behind baseball and football so I can wait a bit. I'm sure once Knight and Spooner pull into Wilmington I'll be jacked- but not hurrying winter

I am seriously considering watching the Premier League this Saturday morning at 7.30 AM!!!! Honestly....

Question - why haven't they shown the Bruins/Pens series yet? Too embarassing for the NHL's chosen team?

Please let training camp start -

Very, very much. NHL Vault, though not perfect, is helping...

Maybe if they had some sports updates once in a while about hockey, any hockey I'd get a little Felger pup tent but NO. I've been watching some "classic" stuff on the NHL station but meh. I'm waiting with baited breath to hear if/when the B's are going make Wayne Gretzky's brother the head of scouting, or when the big guys head into Boston or a report on Iggy and his family and whether they're going to move here with him? I mean really, pretty pathetic but I can't help it I need a hockey fix.

Nope the Sox are so fun to watch plus I still don't want to think about Hockey until I can get back on the rink myself, NHL is still to depressing.

What is it, like 40 days left?

40 days...

At least football starts in like 2 weeks... That'll hold me over. Or at least keep me up.

By those standards I guess I need to get one too then, lol, only because it's so true.

No.

Don't get me wrong, love the game, but my life's full enough as it is at the moment without adding the angst and preoccupation that goes along with being a hockey fan.

There's a time for it. It's just not here yet.

Nah, I love watching Tin Cup and Dogdeball: An Underdog Story on TSN these days

Worst time of year, not much of a baseball fan, all golf majors are done, the major Networks have rolled out their annual pile of garbage while their hit shows on summer hiatus.

Thank gawd for my 40 rounds of golf mixed in with some work

As a Jacksonville Jaguars fan since the age of eight, I say YES I miss hockey...very much! And given from what I saw in preseason game 1, this NFL season is gonna be brutal for my team...

I keep checking the NHL Network for 2013 playoff series other than Boston-Toronto, and they keep showing the same **** over and over and over. It's maddening. I'd give anything for Bos/Nyr or the Pens series.

Fortunately for me I am too busy hitting a little white ball up a fairway during this time of year to let it bother me that there is no hockey.
