Horton just scares me because of his head injuries.

Have faith ... at the very least ... I think we could agree that Fids is likely going the other way ... we're up to $5 million and you'll probably have the money to get the winger of your choice.

Just trying to spread some hope to ease your concerns.

The Loui trade has driven me to drink and too much Mountain Dew mixed with cheap Canadian whiskey makes me paranoid

Horcoff for Larsen and a 7th? Oh, Nill. I'm having a statue of you built.

@DarrenDreger: Oilers-Stars still working on Horcoff trade. Hearing defenseman Philip Larsen and a 7th to Oil. Could be more going to Dallas. #TSN

BTW Horcoff is pretty damn good at shootouts, he's around 50% on his career.

Is it so bad that you need to mix it with Mountain Dew?

I'm usually paranoid for other reasons.

I have faith that when the dust settles and we're watching hockey next season, Dallas and Boston fans will both be happy with the on ice product. I could be wrong, but it's better than expecting the worst like some around here (not directed at you).

What's the word on Larsen? Is he good enough to play a regular shift on the third pairing?

I'm not big on Larsen, hope he turns it around but I don't really see him ever being better than a third pairing defenseman.

Many will tell you no. I still have faith in the little guy.

I would expect someone younger considering Larsen being involved. Not going to get my hopes up for that guy just yet.

He was barely good enough to be a third pairing d-man in one of the worst groups of d-men in the league.

Not going to run the numbers just yet ... but if no other roster players are involved ... Dallas is closer to about $4 million in space.

Hey, don't get me wrong though, I'd rather have Larsen be our #7 than Jordie freakin Benn.
