Horton and Riberio, just set the bar:

5 for Clarkson
5.5 for Weiss
5 for Bozak

I guess they really wanted him for a while, assuming they knew he'd need shoulder surgery.

This will be a problem contract 2 years from now. Terrible term and money.

Cap hit I expected, but Horton at 7 years? 5 I would push to...but I see Horton regressing after about 3 years. His style of play has taken a toll on him.

But CBJ is all hands on deck.

In Horton years, that means he'll be 58.

As a CBJ fan I have mixed emotions. Happy we are trying to win and attract talent. Sad because of his injuries.

Lockout? What lockout?

dirty, filthy, rich obscurity.
Are you ripping more on Horton or on Columbus here?

Can't say I blame either side, so I don't know why your panties are ruffled.

Oh, hf.
Nathan Horton never produced before he joined the Bruins?

This was not a surprise at all. And since he's signed for seven years, I'd think a few weeks is manageable.

good caphit

as for the term, if he gets brushed against while eating dinner he'll probably be out for about half of it

With the Jackets Defense 25 goals a year is going to be great. Love the signing.

PROS
-Great shot
-Decent playmaker
-Solid in the shootout

CONS
-Concussion issues
-Tends to float
-Disappears on the scoresheet for stretches

Plus, can't make his debut until likely December 2013. Shoulder surgery.

I don't think this is a wise thing by the team for a player that has had a few serious brain injuries.
