Nashville is gonna win games by bottom 6ers and defense? I know they're a strong defensive team, but usually they got some skilled fwds. Hornqvist and Forsberg is gonna carry their offense?

He was good 2 years ago but has gone down hill since. Probably a below average 4th liner. Don't know why he/other teams thought he was worth so much. There's no way in hell he's worth more than 1mil per year.

The 4th liners who sign on the first day of free agency almost always make out. It's the ones who are left out there after teams spend all their money that end up suffering.

How in the world did Hendricks get a four-year contract, let alone for almost two million AAV?

Hendricks played his role well that series but he was far from the teams best player (that title belongs to Semin that series). Anyways, good luck Hendricks.. Nash will love him in the shootout

I'm not a fan of this signing at all...a bit more than he's worth for a year or two more than I'd give him, and most confusingly the last thing Nashville needs is bottom six depth.

I'm sure Preds fans will quickly grow fondly of him, but on paper it doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

I guess Trotz must have asked Poile for more "Trotz-style" players.

This signing makes a ton of sense given how many shootouts are on the horizon for us next year...

Seriously our GF/G is going to be like 1.60 next season.

Hopefully goalies in the west haven't seen any film on his shootout move, otherwise he won't be effective there.

Love Hendy, always root for my former Huskies, but wow that's way too much money.
