It would have to be Seguin for Eriksson + assets

The Dallas owners seem a bit too antsy. They seem to want to make a splash for the sake of making a splash.

Trade is bigger than Seguin for Eriksson. Draft picks to Boston? Prospects? Working on details.

very curious to see what else is involved. seems like an interesting question of valuation. Eriksson is better now and on the better contract, Seguin is pretty good himself and has the age-factor.

Naw, I think it's a fantastic deal for Dallas. Seguin is a special player who had horrendous linemates and shooting luck in the playoffs and gets lambasted for being a moronic 21 year old kid. I was honestly only paying attention to the playoffs after we got eliminated because I hoped Seguin would continue to get crap luck and then DW would swoop in. Bummer.

Believe Peverley may be in that Dallas/Boston deal as well.

Boston fans turned on Seguin like they did on Kessel. Just like they did Jumbo etc.

The only thing Seguin has over Eriksson is age. Its not like Eriksson is all that old. This trade especially if it involves other assets seems outrageously stupid to me. SPLASH for nothing.

Yeah.... but to be fair to Boston, if a bottom feeder offers you two first round picks for Kessel, take the deal

Seguin is 7 years younger. 7 years. I hate Dallas.

I never know what Dallas' plans are. They don't seem to either.

I think both teams got what they wanted. Kessel is an elite offensive weapon.

Another thing. For what Dallas is getting from Eriksson for 4.25 for three years.... Boston appears to be robbing Dallas. Per cap hit Erikson is probably the most valuable player in the league, at least top five.

Jim Nill from Detroit is the new GM if Dallas. I suspect he has a good idea what he's doing.

NJ and Montreal were among several suitors for Ryane Clowe. Told Habs are out now. Devils very interested in Clowe.
Interesting. Clarkson replacement?

I'm told there are 7 pieces to the Seguin-Eriksson trade. 3 prospects moving from Stars. 4 players total.

Dallas about to get robbed blind by Chiarelli. Rookie GM shouldn't be involved in a big deal like this.

I highly, highly doubt that. Chiarelli gets way too much respect around here. Nill's a very smart guy who knows what he's doing.
