B's (24-10-2) at Preds (16-16-4) / 7:00

BRUINS (24-10-2) at PREDATORS (16-16-4)

TV: NESN, FS-TN

Last 10: Boston 7-3-0; Nashville 3-5-2

Season series: This is the first of two games between the Boston Bruins and Nashville Predators, the first time the teams have played since Feb. 11, 2012, when Tyler Seguin and Patrice Bergeron scored in the shootout in a 4-3 Bruins victory.

Big story: The Bruins are one of five teams in the Eastern Conference with a winning record against their Western Conference counterparts, but none of that success has come against the Central Division teams; the Bruins are 0-1-2 against Central teams, and they're the only team in the NHL winless against the seven teams in the division.

The Predators will look to continue that run of success for the division, while at the same time snapping a three-game winless skid.

Go Preds!!!

Go Perds! Curious to see which team shows up tonight though. Typically not a great sign when a defenseman is leading your team in goals scored at the halfway point.

Go Perds! Get a win tonight boys. Makes the cold walk to the car after the game easier. On another note this Barlines place isn't too bad.

I don't have to work but I'm not sure I have enough booze to drink this team to victory.

Now that is a horrible goaltending performance that Trotz can complain about.

Maz has definitely shown more than Hutton so far in season.

Just dont drop down to 3-0 before reacting again...

Maz is cold. Hutton is cold. Rinne is out. Screw it, call up Magnus.

So many lapses in every zone that it's difficult to watch.

Does this team not know the game starts at 7? Another sleep walking 1st period.

Dear Santa:

Please skip the Predators players this year. They've been naughty.

We must be the worst team in the NHL on breakaways. There is no way we are coming back from 3-0 on Rask and the Bruins.

Smith scores on the PP again. 3-1. Seeing Jones point blast makes me still wonder why Trotz ever took him off the PP. Now if we could somehow score 5 on 5.

3:50 of PP ugliness finally leads to something good.

This team (and some questionable medical advice) are why I don't have a liver.

I saw Gaustad turn his stick around to try to win the draw back right-handed on the right side in the second period. Does he usually do that? I don't think I've seen that before.
