This makes me happy that you are genuinely unhappy and using the same words that Ottawa fans did to mock Therrien.

Bergevin on the way to improving this team by filling a need

Could be an OK move, help Prust a little bit.

But the thing is, Parros literally plays 5min. a game, not really more. And Therrien likes to use his 4th line. Will we see 10 min. of Parros? That could be... entertaining.

Well, Toronto lost Grabovski and Macarthur, Boston lost Horton, Seguin, Peverley and Ference, Ottawa lost Alfredsson, Detroit is losing Filpulla.

You can't just look at who was added and get scared. Habs lost the least in UFA value, so is less in the hole than everyone else starting out.
I think ottawa recieved a net gain, and I think there is no doubt whatsoever that detroit upgraded.

I don't know if Toronto is improved on paper but they added a player who fits their identity perfectly, and deleted one who didn't.

I'll reserve judgement on Boston because it seems like they still have some notable moves up their sleeve.

I have never, ever, been a fan of the enforcer guy if that is all he can do. We traded for Parros, I wonder if we tried for guys like Boll and Reaves, guys who can play 7 or 8 minutes, don't hurt their team, are punishing hitters, and can also fight. Now Parros is a heavyweight and can be put in the line-up when thought needed, so fine, but still think we need a guy who can skate ok, play ok, hit and fight. Moen is supposed to do that job, but didn't do it last year, that's for sure.

NO, the idea is not about making Lucic think twice, it's about getting Lucic off the ice for 5 minutes and still have Prust on the ice. Parros will only play when the Habs play teams like Boston that take BIG advantages against Habs players. Habs waited for the refs to defend the habs and well we all saw the playoff type refs again letting other players get away with nearly everything.
If you can beat then , join then. OH yes and in 3-4 years we will have out own Lucic ( actually he is even BIGGER then Lucic )

Patches, Beaulieu +?

The future of this team is kind of stuck at the moment. We need prospects to take some steps forward. The only ones who seem in range of the NHL are Tinordi and Beaulieu. We need to have an excess of prospects and young players that can be moved for help "now." We don't have that. We have just enough currently, and maybe not even that.
More like Gallagher and Collberg and a 1st.

Which is reasonable if you think you can resign Ryan.

I agree with LG, if this is the price for Ryan I'd want in on it.

The key isn't adding size or skill, its getting more good players. I think MTL hasn't done any of that this off season so far.

Ottawa could launched that kind of deal for Ryan because of their pool of prospects. We're not there yet.

Parros and Moen were more than linemates, they were roomates.

Parros was once asked to tell the audience something about moen that we dont know (or something to that extent). His answer had something to do with moen's farts.

i watched everyone of his shifts last year, don't let his stats fool you.. he could have doubled his production with a bit more luck.

Yeah. Theres something to be proud of here.
You forgot to subtract the goals they lost through player losses. Some people just just like to complain without putting a dose of logic into their posts it's hilarious. I love it

Indeed. Those posts are so flawed it's ridiculous. The Pens signed and traded for everyone last year, that sure worked out...

We got him for cheap.

Something prompted MB's to get this guy, whether it was his own evaluation of things that happen in the games or the players requesting a Parros-type.
