[QUOTE=le_sean;68975483]Like I said in another thread: empty stadium, team going nowhere. What's the incentive of going all out fighting for that? Bell Centre will get him jacked up.[/QUOTE

You are perfectly right IMHO. Parros will thrive as an enforcer in a big market like many others have before....but don't give him more than 5 mins a night!

I understand what Laraque is saying, but some fitghters are actually huggers, but Parros has traded punch for punch with the toughest in this league, Laraque doesn't know what he's talking about, he's just making a fool of himself again.

He caught Scott with ONE good one. Scott has won a much much higher pecentage of his fights than Orr.

Are you really trying to belittle Orr? He wins the majority of his fights, he's one of the hardest punche in the game and he has a strong chin. Scott is great too.

Lucic is a very good fighter, but most heavy weights are better than him. A guy like Scott would probably kill Lucic if Lucic were willing to go.

Either we're overrating Lucic here, or we're underrating Prust.

Parros dropped Scott (with a solid left jab IIRC), and he ended Orr's season as well (concussion IIRC).

So I don't think our new Greek addition is too worried about the goons in our division.

Habs need to invite Laraque to training camp, he's looking built:

I bet he wouldn't even need padding.

Takes some freakin nerves for a guy who was said to go home and leave the team to then criticize another tough guy....Nerves or pure idiocy.

Laraque as a politician wouldn't be much of a change from him as an enforcer.

He never fought for what team needed and whined about everything else.

One of the best power forwards, as a fighter only he isn't even top 10.

Orr wins more than he loses, but Scott wins a much greater percentage.

No he isn't. When he fights against real heavyweights they mop the ice with him. Cripes he got beat by Boulton who isn't even a top 10 guy!

Now those rumours from that poster who said Habs were in talks with the Avs about Cody McLeod do not seem so far fetched. McLeod would have been a beauty....

Boulton beat him when Lucic was 19? Common now Lucic has beat up tough guys out of their brains.

He has won his last 14 fights.. Must be doing something right.

Last "loss" was barely even a loss. Great fight with Vandameer

You have to think that based on the fact that we used a 3rd round pick for a guy like Connor Crisp, that we have to take into consideration every player like that which are, tough players to play against, hard on the forecheck, with the occasionnal dropping the mits. You then have to think that Jared Boll is on top of the list....I'd give a whole lot to get him to be honest....just need to define my "whole lot"....

Cody McCormick is (or was) around the same level as McLeod and I'm sure Buffalo would give him up for a ham sandwich.
