True, for the regular season cause come playoff time this doesn't do anything for us. Were still small on the top 6, that's what Bergevin needs to address ASAP
Absolutely. But remember what Bergevin said. There are 2 things you have to do.....being a better team in the regular season. And being a better team in the playoffs. Parros serves the purpose in the regular season....Brière for the playoffs. I guess it means that...Bergevin is done....
This is simple. Prust had the job last year to take on the other teams biggest, well with Parros it will be his job leaving Prust to take on guys his size. It sure was a cheap trade and If Parros only plays 10 games and all against the Bruins and a few others then well OK. Let him take on Lucic every time and take Lucic off the ice for 5 minutes every game.
Totally agree. Fans have NO IDEA how tough this job is.
It's a good move for what it is boys. There are just like no reasons to whine about this. We don't give anything. And we get a guy who our entire team is PLEASE to have, especially Prust but others much smaller guys as well. It's a team's pleaser.
Yes, we won't finish 1st because of it but to each their own. Each trade has a purpose and this trade serves one.
LOVE this move. Little cost, gauranteed toughness and good role player. Parros doesn't usually take stupid penalties, he knows his role. Anyone who complains about this move is either contridicting themselves from before, or are simply out to lunch. While we still need a move that will give us size in the top6, getting a heavyweight is a important, albeit small step towards building a winner. Deal with it whiners.
