Is there any doubt Pete Chiarelli is one of the best?

That honor would have to go to the Flames

Yeah, Iginla to the Bruins doesn't really fill me with fear...this isn't 2004.

But speaking of PIT runoffs, I wonder if we could get Brenden Morrow on a cheap deal. Forgot he's still out there. Could bring some grit and leadership. Worse case he can stand in front of the net and bang in some pucks.

Damn I was going to get Center Ice this year but I think I can only take so much of us getting our ***** handed to us.
I know there is a lot of time before the puck drops, but today I feel like my friends got cool toys for Christmas and all I got were clothes.

You guys are funny! Everytime Toronto, Ottawa or Boston gets a new player, it's always the same "Ha this guy is done", "they paid too much for him", "I'd rather not move than getting this player", etc...

Aren't we kinda full up on forwards? Haven't done the exact count but it seems like we're getting up there.

Who is supposed to go first next year anyways? Feels like a weak draft with no hype?

Yeah I'm hoping to get some top 9 net presence through trade or with Morrow or Cleary.

Maybe D and some grinders too.

Same. Im just not worried. A 28 year old Horton is so much better than a 36 year old Iginla.

Don't see how this is an upgrade.

Horton = Eriksson
Seguin > Iginla

I think Seguin will blossom in Dallas...Iggy's blossoming days are over.

Maybe Bergevin is expecting massive improvements from both Eller and Galchenyuk? If Gally becomes the 1st liner he's projected to be in a Stamkos-like manner then we're set at forward anyway.

Maybe that's what he's banking on?

And similarly, every time the Bruins/Leafs/Senators breathe, it's the move that will clinch them a championship and send the Habs into an interminable downward spiral.

Because we haven't moved DD and/or Gionta yet, but there's still time

Listen up boys. I luv Iggy and have tickets in Calgary. He is not a PF anymore, just a shooter. Boston is slower, softer and weaker now. We do need to make some moves but hopefully they are still coming right MB?
