Big, big dude who will hit everything and can (is getting Barb Underhill'd) skate. When he originally entered the OHL it was thought that he had a ton of offensive upside. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe he was the 1st overall pick in the OHL draft. Obviously that didn't pan out, but he will make a really good 4th liner someday.

I graded them a little while back (editor puts them up). My guess is they'll be updated with the top 20 (working on it now, released by months end) then if they haven't been yet.

Just did a quick google, and it looks like he was drafted in the 1st round, 10th overall

Kyle Cicerella (@KyleTheReporter) posted a rough lineup with who are most likely Marlie bound as of now:

http://kylethereporter.com/2013/08/0...013-14-season/

D'Amigo - Smith - Ashton
Leivo - McKegg - Abbott
Ross - Crescenzi - Biggs
Broll - Carrick - Ryan
Devane, Bodie

MacWilliam - Holzer
Brennan - Blacker
Percy - Granberg
Yeo - Marshall

MacIntyre
Sparks
Gibson

Very young team this season that hopefully won't get into injury trouble.
Where is Nilsson in all of this? He is 20 now so he can play in the A. Will he be back to Sweden?

there's definitely a shot at being a 3rd liner. the guy has some hands on him. he's not far off from Biggs...if at all.

3rd liner's still a longshot, though he has a chance. I think he's a pretty safe bet to at least make the NHL as a good 4th liner - i.e. an enforcer who can actually play a bit.

I wasn't high on him when drafted but I have to say he looks like he really wants it, and that goes a long way, he's definitely improved big time since his draft year. All the credit goes to him.

Dylan Yeo

Mark Rackham

If you take a look at the current Marlies roster, the oldest defenseman of the six is 27-year-old Dylan Yeo. The Prince Albert native is a recent addition to the Marlies

^^ I find for some reason this guys blog is full of so much incorrect information. The top 10 prospects list had like Blacker rated at #2 for this guy lol

I probably will, but more so from Twitter (easier for me to update). I'll probably post some to the forums from time to time.

I think we'll see D'Amigo, Colborne and Brennan, make or be extras for the Leafs.

The Marlies are going to be a fun team to watch, my guess for the line-up would be....

Leivo - Smith - Abbott
Broll - McKegg - Ashton
Ross - Crescenzi - Biggs
Devane - Carrick - Ryan
Bodie

Percy - Blacker
Yeo - Granberg
MacWilliam - Holzer
Marshall

McIntyre
Sparks

Darn, didn't realize I'd already speculated on the roster, now I can't be pessimistic.

with the raymond pickup, that probably keeps bot ashton and d'amigo down to start the year.

D'Amigo - Smith - Abbott
Ashton - McKegg - Leivo
Ross - Carrick - Biggs
Broll - Crescenzi - Ryan
(Devane - Bodie)

Brennan - Holzer
Percy - Granberg
Blacker - Yeo
(MacWilliam - Marshall)

McIntyre
Sparks
(Gibson)

Roster looks like it could compete for a playoff spot, but definitely not a contender. Bubble team. I hope brennan makes the leafs though.

if bobo doesn't make the big club, i think this is more likely line up:

ross - Colborne - Leivo
d'amigo - McKegg - Biggs
ashton - Carrick - rupert
Broll - Crescenzi - rupert

Percy- Holzer
Blacker - Brennen
Granberg - Yeo
(MacWilliam - kaine)

McIntyre
Gibson (sparks to guelph)

leivo is highly rated so would probably be on first. sprott has seen d'amigo play, so he's on the first 2 lines most likely. sprott probably likes ross' shot and grit, so he'd be on the first 2 lines. after colborne, mcgregg is the most talented centre.

so basically, wingers on lines 1-2 are interchangeable, except leivo who will be on first line. sparks will probably be sent down since he can be and needs more work.

colborne won't be with marlies. he has to go through waivers. he will most likely make the team.

Even if the Ruperts were AHL eligible, they would be on the same line.

Hopefully the Leafs sign M. Rupert. We gotta keep the twins together.

I'm not sure if they have an agreement that they will sign both once they are pro ready... but I just hope we don't lose Matty in all of this.

So he's on the first two lines because spott has seen him play?

Matt's more of a goal scorer, and if the leafs front office likes ryan then they must like matt too. I think its a matter of time before he gets a contract
