Jacobs tells Betman what is allowed and isn't. I wouldn't worry.

They lost quite a bit too. I don't know why people are automatically assuming Boston is better now than they were last year. I don't think Iggy has much left in the tank but Eriksson is a hell of a player. But is he and a past his prime Jarome enough of an upgrade from Seguin, Jagr, Peverley and Horton? Hard time believing that.
Peverley was awful; Horton was invisible during the regular season; Jagr was okay; Sequin was inconsistent. Erikkson and Iginla shoud more than make up for the losses.

Taking out Seguin and Horton and adding Eriksson and an old Iginla is a sideways move at best.
Considering Seguin was pretty much a no-show last season I doubt you know what u're talking about.

Agreed. Their still a good team, but I don't think they are a better team than they were last season.

The man had an eventful off-season that's for sure. I think he did a fantastic job given all his options. They weren't going to overpay for Horton or put up with Seguin's **** anymore and he replaced them with Eriksson (great CJ type player) and Iginla (PF with veteran experience). As the dust is settling I really like how the team looks.

Ya he's peaked, no chance he could improve and play better next season

Yep. The lowered cap took it's toll hard on this past B's team and Chia did probably the best he could have considering all the options. Still would've like to retain Seqsy (lol) but I'm fine.

On the other hand, bruins now have 5.2 million left including the bonus cushion , and rask wants 7 per? Somebody should offer sheet him now (if he's willing to sign)

Wow. I hate Iggy, but I love the Bruins. Bittersweet moment for me. One heck of a player the Bruins got themselves, hopefully it works out.

No reason to sign at all. Rask plays in front of a great system and he's guaranteed to make $$$. He'll get his 7M.

They will use the LTIR exemption from Marc Savard.

6 million is a bit steep. Dude is worth 2.5 in this day and age.

You guys got Cooke right?

edit: Only dreamed in (seriously, kinda weird).

I guess we can go back to the Habs. Lindy Ruff took a little steam out of Buffalo but I can still fit some hate in. Maybe a little bit of Ott out of jealousy of getting Bobby Ryan.
