Go for it, Bergy! Would love to see him score some goals vs the Bruins after not scoring for them. Lol

I hope you are right Monkey. Replacing DD for JJ makes us bigger and better. I would think PLEK would be very excited about this transfer too.

Watching the way Pittsburgh used Jarome Iginla (or more precisely, hardly used) he was probably right. Not surprised Iginla moved on.

That's okay, we could give him some games off here and there. Heck, baseball players take games off every so often, so why not hockey players take some back to back games off to rest a bit. I mean the guy is over 40; why abuse him at that age? Even goalies take games off.

Including games in Europe and Playoffs Jagr played 101 games last year and looked good in the playoffs despite not scoring many goals.

yep pretty much this... Jagr was discussing his move from KHL to NHL with more ppl and someone told him he better go to flyers to play with G... and looking back, hell the guy was right. That was good fit, too bad Jagr got injured that year

Hey, it's "Jagr would like to play for Montreal because of Plekanec" Day! I had forgotten about it. The last 5 years it was on July 2nd.

HABSINSIDEMAN ‏@HABSINSIDEMAN 18m
Seems i was right on Jagr he wants more money than #habs prepared to offer Penner may be plan B

******* ******** ‏@*************** 21m
Scratch #Habs off from the list of potential Jagr destinations. Seems like he is always flirting with the #Canadiens but never putting out.

Creasy ‏@The_Creasy 13m
As I have stated previously, Penner plan A and Jagr plan B. #Habs

HabsRumorSource ‏@HabsRumorSource 7m
#HABS really hot on Penner file right now. Hearing deal could be done this afternoon.

Don't know how legit these guys are, but it seems like Jagr is using the habs to boost his price again...

If he ends up signing for 3.5M or less, damn you Bergevin.

If more.. well, eh. I hope we have someone added.

None of them are legit in the slightest.

If it were up to me, I'd ban everyone who posted that garbage for those tools.

Except we don't know if Bergevin ever even asked about Jagr. Last year MB claimed Jagr wasn't part of his plans, why would he change his mind?

@JoshRimerHockey: From what I hear Jagr will not be signing with the Canadiens. #HABS

‏@TheFourthPeriod: Despite the interest, as of now it doesn't sound like the Habs will be signing Jagr. Things could change, but we shall see.

Optional year? This must be a 2005 rumour.

Not in any way interested in jagr but I understand MB wanting stopgaps until things take off . That's the current state of affairs unfortunately .
