I don't understand your question. San Antonio needs good players, it's important that our prospects play on a competitive team.

I like Matsumoto for SA. Jon Reault is not returning so guess they needed a replacement.

Because AHL players don't magically appear out of thin air. I remember Matsumoto being really good for SA when he was here last. I, for one, am glad we signed him.

I think OP was referring to the fact that we should be signing better FAs to improve the Panthers' line-up...

Panthers management can multi-task.

We can still do that. These signings don't negate the ability to still sign free agents to play in the NHL level. The alarm over minor league and 4th-line/bottom-pairing signings gets a little exhausting. It's still July.

Yea we should. However, they could be asking for too many years, or the salary could outside what we are willing to give them. In the mean time, improving the SA roster shouldn't be ignored...

Is there an AHL center ice cable package? I think I'd rather watch San Antonio than the Panthers this year.

ahllive.com would be the closest thing to that, but it is a complete ripoff...something like 300 bucks for the entire season

I'm very sorry to hear about Matt Gilroy. For your team's sake, I hope he never steps foot on NHL ice.

Stay strong in this dark hour, Panthers fans.

Think Santos will ever put together a good AHL team? They're his baby.

They did have a good team in 11-12. I think their defense looks good, and the offense looks OK. They look really strong down the middle. Goaltending is up in the air, as DGM is a UFA, and the only real goalie they have committed there right now is Houser. Horacheck is coming in with a lot of hype.

He was very very good at doing just that while in the Nashville org. The Ads were 175-106-13-26 and made the playoffs all 4 years he was there. He then came to Florida and turned the Rampage around as they won 41 games and went past the first round for the first time in their history.

I have full faith in the guy.

I'm happy with these pick-ups. They will bring elite AHL-talent to our affiliate which was something they really lacked last season. Matsumoto is proven and will give their top6 a good punch, and gilroy is very skilled and who knows, he might even push for a job with the big boys (especially considering our d is always injured)

Lighten up dude. Guy just came in here to tell us the guy is terrible in a humorous way. No need to take it seriously.
