Because then it would have to revert to franchise and not just Avalanche and you know damn well Eric Lindros deserves to be in this conversation.

@seancolorado -- not sure if that's a dig but most lists are going to be fairly close. Just something I'm doing to kill time during the summer.

I personally would have Roy at no. 1 and Sakic at no. 2.

But from a franchise standpoint, it's hard to not put Sakic at no. 1.

It's length more than anything else for Blake, he was only here for four and a bit years and he wasn't necessarily a game breaker in the way others were.

I can see that. I probably held him a little bit higher regard but I understand he's one of those guys who moves up or down the list depending on the person.

Finally, #1: Joe Sakic

Well, no arguing Sakic. Would have had Roy at #2.

I hope we're lucky enough to see them come close to being supplanted.

Didn't want to create a new thread just for this:

I can't find the Peter Forsberg "Welcome Back" video anywhere on YouTube. Anybody know where it is?

When he returned to the Avs, they played a tribute compilation video of his plays with very uplifting music in the background then at the end it cuts to Peter on the bench and it looks like he is tearing up or at least close to it (Jumbotron)
