Richard Clune is on the list? Are you kidding me?

Brandon Prust is listed at number two? Where is Brian McGrattan, Patrick Bordeleau, and Deryk Engelland?

Writer is a Leafs fan I assume. McLaren, Fraser and Orr are all great fighter, but for all three to make the top ten (plus Clarkson as HM and former Leaf Brown who I wouldn't put on the list), it comes across as clear bias. And Orr is without a doubt a better fighter than McLaren

It's pretty bad, but BR's list of best fighters in each team's history is even worse.

BR is fun to read, but not meant to be taken seriously.

I commented and also left a comment for the 'writer'. I told him to do his homework. I love when people write about things that they are clueless about.

Brandon Prust ahead of McGrattan, Engelland, and Bordeleau? 10-4.

I went through nearly 40 different fighters for that article and compiled records by hands. I watched a ton of video, and the slider took me an awfully long time to do. I understand that you don't agree with the results and I respect that, but I wouldn't be so quick to assume that the difference of opinion is because I "didn't do my homework
That is the response I got. He's a Red Wings fan...Maybe that explains his lack of knowledge in the fighting department.

Takedowns are considered knockouts to him. If that was the case, than Richard Clune would be considered the best fighter in the league.

Deryk Engelland is a bum. His fights never end on the ice. He should be sent to the FHL.

That's his logic.

"It doesn't matter how many punches are landed in a fight, if you throw your opponent to the ice, then you automatically win the fight. That is why Mike Komisarek is the best fighter of all-time. Anyone who disagrees with me is a narrow-minded imbecile who has zero knowledge about hockey fights."

"Hi, I'm Mike Komisarek and when Mike Rupp runs my teammate, I softly bump into him and do an MMA take-down before getting beat up."

Bleacher Report is sometimes entertaining but it holds little to no information value. No-one should take it seriously.

That kind of logic is why so many people think Laraque and Chara are gods.

Laraque just bodyslammed guys when fights started to go against him. He was decent, but not anything special considering all the cheap takedowns that were chalked up as wins by his homers.

Tim Jackman gets an honorable mention on this list? As a Flames fan that is pretty funny, that guy is soft as marshmallows.

That's not fair.

Just cause Kenny Holland knows squat about it, doesn't mean you should speak for the fans in general.

Not mad at you. Just trying to stress how many Wings fans are not cool with a soft lineup every season. The JLA crowd is sex-starved for an enforcer.

It wasn't always soft. Joe Kocur had a vicious right hand punch. That was a long time ago....Geez, I am old.

Bob Probert, Joey Kocur, Darren McCarty, Terry Carkner, Stu Grimson, Brendan Shanahan, Keith Primeau and Randy McKay.

Detroit had tough teams during the eighties to the nineties.

In his defense, he was using a points system instead of the eye test.

But that's an incredibly stupid way to do it, because by that logic, fighting a lot means you're a great fighter.

He told me that he watched videos and such. Patrick Bordeleau's six fights or whatever blew Clune's twelve out of the water.

Prust should absolutely not be on this list.
