Block buster of the off season.

Excellent all hustle player. Underrated middle weight fighter. Versatile fourth liner. Very glad he's back.

He's really found his groove in Phoenix under Tippett. It's probably not expensive and he's sure to be at least worth the contract.

I hope they still re-sign Gordon.

875K for 3 years is a great signing. For a while last season (February IIRC) Chipchura was our only offensive catalyst, highlighted with a 2 goal game against the Canucks that included a sick undressing of Ryan Kesler. With Gordon gone, Chipchura will likely have to take significant responsibility on the PK, but he was a reasonable PKer in Anaheim and should be able to get back to that in our system. But in the end, Chip is far better suited to centering a puck possession/energy line than Boyd is. Klinkhammer - Chipchura - Brown should provide a lot of crash and bang next season for us.

Chipchura is a decent player. Pretty good cap hit.

I would have thought the Oilers would have had interest in him. He is a high energy guy. He works hard, hits, takes face offs and can play centre and left wing . I could have seen their third line with Gordon at centre and Jones and Chipchura on the wings. Gordon and Chipchura could also have played one of the PK shifts. Great cap hit too

There was a time we thought Chipchura would never make it to the NHL. Glad he's bounced and found a place to succeed.

Bottom 6 wings are pretty much filled with Paajarvi, Hemsky, Jones, Smyth, Brown, and Eager. They need a 3rd line centre and a 2nd LW.
Great signing for Arizona though(I'd take him over Smyth these days

There was a time when he was an untouchable future power forward for Habs fans All fan bases have those skeletons in the closet

One of the best 4th liners in the game today. Tippett definitely assists his game.

Big Chipchura fan from his days in Hamilton. Glad to see him get a longer deal, always thought he would make the NHL as he works hard and does what it takes to help his team win. Cheap contract for the yotes, so win-win.

Shouldn't it be 'Confirmed Signing with link [ARI]...' now?

Huh? Colby Armstrong is a piece of trash. Lower than a maggot boiling in hot dumpster water.

How dare you mention that worthless human waste in the thread dedicated to the noble, honorable, magnanimous Kyle Chipchura? How dare you sir? Hang your head in shame and deactivate your account immediately.
