Beckett hasn't release it yet. Therefore, I sell them at the average "Buy it now" price on Ebay.

Usually first pricing will take Beckett at least one issue past to get out. It takes them two months to take prices and another month to publish them and 1 to 5 weeks for the mag to get to you.

I like Beckett cause it gives you a direction value and it's nice with a magazine than to search on Ebay but as others said, if you want more accurate values then Ebay is the best place.

So I bought a box that had 8 packs of Artifacts 2012-13 in it. I didn't get a single card that wasn't a base card. My collection is off to a rocky start haha.

It sounds like you bought Retail version. If you go in to a real hockey card shop and buy Hobby version, you get a hit every pack.

That's a retail blaster box. Hits in those are few and far between. They normally retail for around $20.

This is what you need for memorabilia and auto cards, a hobby box:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2012-13-UPPE...item3383587d3e

About 4-5 times the price.

Favourite Hockey Cards (lookwise)

This is almost a demon child spawned from the 90's hockey thread and the hockey card thread.
I notice there are a lot of hilarious and interesting hockey cards, like Bure on rollerblades, etc.
Which ones do you particularly find your favourite?

I collected his rookie card and in NHL 93 for Genesis, when I edit rosters, he's the goalie over Hrudey. Hrudey has a higher rating in the game, meaning he moves a lot more...ironically in the game, goalies that move less are better!

Just picked up a lot of 16 1972-73 Topps cards off eBay for $5.99!

Mostly average players, but there is a Jacques Lemaire in there.

That's a great set. The Keith Magnuson is particularly cool. I wish OPC had stuck with the Topps image for that one.

I opened a few boxes of 92-93 OPC Premier. Took two boxes to build a set...good times.

Still have two boxes left.

Bought myself a Panthers Trevor Kidd card with his sweet Brian's pads. Those pads were insanely good, too bad the person in them couldn't live up to them

Have you gotten an ice premier yet for him ?

My Gallagher one should be in soon. Those cards always seem to be ridiculously priced.

Ice premieres or Crystal premieres? #75? No I don't but I would like to have one to add to the collection for sure.

There are a few elite collectors out there building sets of every single card from every single year. They're competing of course with the player collectors. The awesome combination of shiny plastic, on-card autos, rookie year release and patch marked the demand for this card much higher than its population of /10.

Either one. I just remember a Price premier card being /99, or so and it's worth 400, or more dollars.
