Mike Hoffman named Captain of the Binghamton Senators.

As per Bingo twitter:

Binghamton Senators ‏@BSens_Hockey 9m
#BSens have announced that @MHoffy68 has been named the teams new Captain... Congratulations Hoffer! Well deserved! #FearlessLeader

This confirms that Boro is staying in Ottawa.

So you're saying that hes better than everyone in our bottom 6? What has he done to show that hes better than any of the names above minus Kassian?

You are vastly overrating Hoffman; he is a very good AHL player but he has limited NHL upside. If he makes it to the NHL, he most likely tops out as a speedy 30-40 point third line winger who plays on the 2nd power play unit but is undersized, and below average defensively for the bottom six role.
