Since we traded our 2nd,3rd I think the Oilers will keep the pick. If we get ekblad, bennett, draisailt. I was hoping for bleackley with our high 3rd but it looks doubtful now .

Scherbek, McDonald, and Reinhart the best players that period.

Scherbek intercepted a pass from Virtanen to Ekblad at his blue line and had a breakaway near the end of the period, but McDonald stoned him...with some help from Virtanen's can opener move.

I thought Goldobin was right up there with those guys.

With some coaching adjustments the team Ekblaisaitl looks less Oilers ish and are looking good. If only the Oilers could do some sort of coaching adjustments and suddenly look good.

Hi 'Calgary Oilers', Sam Reinhart looks like a fantastic player. He'd look good along with a number of other picks in that range I think, Thanks for sharing. Do you like Ekblad as well? He's going to be good.

Wow Draisaitl and Ekblad both hit the posts and Lemieux causes problems in front to get a goal.

Dal Colle with a laser to answer the goal.

You're right, he had a good period too. Seems like a high IQ kind of player.

He has an extra gear but he looks slow when he doesn't use it. I think he could be like Malkin in the sense that he conserves his energy.

Ekblad incredibly good at keep the puck in at the point. That is something we could desperately use.

DVRing the game. Traditionally, a very difficult game for defensemen to look good in. Hoping the high end forwards show well and trick the Sabres & Flames.

Speaking of MacT he's on on the TV!

"Our fans want us to build a team that is sustainable"

On his willingness to move the pick he said something like "I say that I'm listening every year"

If we are picking at the top it doesn't sound like he will move it unless a really good offer comes along.

Busy period with a lot of chances. Hard to pick the top 3 players, but I'll go with Ekblad, Ho-Sang (sp?), and Dal Colle.

Ho-sang batted a puck out of mid-air for a goal. His line started the period strong and helped team Orr get some momentum.

Ekblad had 2 assists a couple good shot attempts. He is a great passer. Put one on a platter for a shot on the PP.

Dal Colle almost had 2 goals and has a hell of a shot.

HM - Goldobin, McCann

If Dal Colle can bulk up and play more physical he could really be a steal.

It is speculative as hell but I wonder if he doesn't like the when and how we drafted. Maybe he wants his own rebuild picks. I dunno.
