I haven't had the time to watch this yet but the chick with Aspergers should be doing the job pretty well. The guy that is the on-set consultant created an entire online Autism Community(WrongPlanet). Ive been on that website for years. I hope to see the show soon because im always interested in the performance and to see if I feel like I can relate to it; Hollywood seems to be getting better with it in recent years. Last movie I saw with a main character with aspergers was ADAM and it was decently acted.

Plot is moving along nicely and getting more bigger (3 year planning???). Sonya's awkwardness is just hilarious at times (basically acts like a guy when she needed sex ). The guy who killed that fat woman is probably the kidnapped girl's boyfriend or relative or pimp (or if they really want to go crazy, all of them).

Thought the second episode was miles better then the pilot, really enjoyed it. Really enjoying Ruiz when he has some comedic moments, loved the guy walking away from Sonya when she said she didn't want a drink.

“What are you doing here? I can’t have sex at work.” “Well, goodnight.”

Thought it was another solid episode tonight.

“What are you doing here? I can’t have sex at work.”

Another good episode. At the end I went from thinking "Ruiz, you dog... What the hell is that a horse???!!!"

I thought it was very 'Eh'. The endings are boring, and there's not a lot going on thats particularly interesting. Very slow moving series.

Next episode might be the last I give it.

For anyone who watched tonight's episode, Sonya & Hank were in the car talking about Sonya going to someone's grave, but I didn't recognize the name, think it was Lisa. I started watching during the 2nd episode and may have missed something or just completely had a brain dead moment. Does anyone know who that person was?

I didn't expect that FBI guy Gedman to have been "dirty" as well. Seems almost no one is "clean" in this show.

Man this show just keeps getting deeper and bigger. Ruiz I though Gus was his and the current wife's son, but she's his stepmother... in case I've missed something, have they mentioned anything about Gus's mother?

This Steven Linder guy, I feel like he escaped from a Coen brothers movie.

I certainly didn't expect that young girl's little Mexican adventure to develop into this.

In case anyone's watched the original series, did they ever mention the Aspergers? Just wondering how long before someone says it.

Wow, they definitely ain't pulling punches with what type of people they're killing.

I thought the widow Millwright storyline was getting boring but then they had the ATF show up. Escalating rather quickly.

it's funny, most people didn't like sonia, but it was the widow i never liked. her story is getting there, will be interesting to see how that turns out now.

also, was nice to get a bit more of a background story on sonia. now i def know who lisa was.

Hate is a strong word, but I hated Sonia in the pilot , but now I really enjoy her scenes and getting to know her background.

I started watching during the 2nd episode and before I read this thread I thought she was different but no more than some people I know. She's def developing more, though some of her scenes now are so 2nd hand embarrassment! I'm no Miss Manners, but when she had dinner with Ruiz's family, I wanted to put my hands over my eyes lol

That's Aspergers for you. Social ineptitude.

Her booty call dude is a bit annoying but I have always had a bit of a crush on Ms Gish since the X-Files. And she still looks good, much like Gillian.

You're right - her annoyance peaked hard in the first ep. After that she was fine.

It's getting better ratings than any other FX series ever.

It's not getting cancelled.

Ah, I mistook "set a network record" for best ratings. Thanks.

Still, it's already been renewed for Season 2.

I'm shocked. I think it's just kind of boring. Not enough action, the only likeable character in that show to me is the cop with the mustache that looks like Zach Galifanfrankfurternakas.
