To put it both bluntly and frankly. So just points matter huh? I guess you think Chris Kunitz is a better hockey player than Pavel Daystuk? HE HAD MORE POINTS!!!!

With the addition of Perron, Henrique makes this team a whole hell of a lot better than Gagner.

IMO, it makes the team demonstrably worse.

I'm not sure what an iffy LW has to do with our 2C.

I like Gagner.

If Hemsky's sticking around, they absolutely cannot leave him on a line with Boyd Gordon. It's just not going to work, especially if the other winger is Jones.

Honestly, if Hemsky stays I think it's more likely he plays on a line with Lander and Smyth than it is that he plays on a shutdown line with Gordon.

He's an incredibly stupid and selfish gm if that is the case. Lou should have a devil tattooed on his rump. You do what is right for the team short term and long term. It was baffling that he didn't cough up the pick when it was 29th.

Only on HF Boards is Perron considered an "iffy" LW. 3rd highest career scoring LW under 25 in the NHL and that's with missing almost an entire season due to injury.

Next time I'll just say he's a better offensive player and not qualify my statement at all, lesson learned.

Why do people WANT to send Hemsky to New Jersey? That roster is god awful. Nothing appealing that they would give up.

no one even mentioned perron what are you smoking? SK13 even highlighted the part he was refering to which was about henrique who is an iffy LW and is not comparable to gagner.

Gagner is a small and skilled with zero defensive game.

Henrique is a 2-way forward who has shown the ability to play with elite players at hte junior and NHL level.

Henrique eclipsed 50 points last year. Has Sammy Sam ever done that? Didn't think so.

I agree with the bolded, if they play Hemsky on the shutdown line he is doomed to fail.

So I guess cornkicker thinks a guy taking 680 faceoffs in a 48 game season is a Left Winger....

Give them a first for Larsson if they are concerned about a first round pick next year. NJ has 7 NHL d-men and this point. Heck, throw in Hemsky.

Ilya Kovalchuk propped up Henrique in his first season.

Without Kovie, Henrique doesn't get a sniff of a Calder nomination.

His two-way game is over-rated and he isn't half the player Gagner is IMO.

the only reason henrique was even a decent draft pick is because he piggybacked taylor hall in Windsor. he's a medicore player, just like matt read.
