Can Nelson move Gernat to LW already? Too many LH Dmans for my liking.

Actually, that's not a bad idea.

Maybe he can put on 30 pounds and be our Burns. But honestly, not a bad idea. Playing him as forward is better than being a scratch

However, he can already handle himself at the AHL against busts like Glennie(is that Scott Glennie?). That's something, right?
Nurse absorbed the vast majority of Glennie's punches with his helmet in that scrap. He does a reasonably good job of punching and ducking/turning/avoiding. I'd want Nurse to become a little more defensive against tougher opposition.

Pinizzotto gets a 2 game suspension and Glennie gets 1 game.

That was Glennie. I actually want to trade for Glennie though if he comes extremely cheap.

A bit of a reclamation AHL project. Maybe he can turn it around and become a 1st line AHL player or fringe NHL player
Yeah, what happened to that guy? Was not he a top 10 pick only a few years ago?

That Peterson character looked so familiar. His whiffs still smell of Craig MacTavish.

Pitlick made an amazing play, slid right past the first d-man, made a centering pass, then completely totalled the other defender going for a hipcheck. Maybe not a bust?

They think it might have off the crossbar? or the other play might've?

Fedun had a solid half the net to shoot at, took a half second too long....

Texas on a Ranford wrap-around. 2-0 lead in the series.

So OKC needs to win 3 straight in Texas now.

2 straight overtime losses at home against the top AHL team... heartbreaking.

It's a tall order for sure, especially if Dallas gets knocked out and they add some players from the NHL club. In saying that I've watched the Barons come back from deficits so many times late in games this year, they play their best hockey when their back is against the wall. Got my fingers crossed hoping for some magic.

This sounds positive. Where have his strengths been so far in your eyes?

Made a bad play with a bouncing puck and quickly skated back and checked the guys stick and took the puck back. He is also really good at protecting the puck down low. Nelson has trusted him with a lot of responsibility as well.

Same gushing comments I made about him 3 years ago...Kid can't stay healthy. Be interested to see when he last played 10 games in a row?
