I'm a little skeptical whether Shinkaruk's offense/style will translate well to the NHL.

He's a tough worker and has good IQ so he will at least be grinder.

I don't know as much about Collberg.

Is Collberg still playing with the shortest stick imaginable? Cuz that and small stature is bound to make some restless D men salivate.

Shinkaruk. I'll trust the scouts and GM's here.

I read that Collberg had a great development camp. Good for him, but which one of these two that's going to have the best NHL-Career (if any?) Is still not set in stone - I Don't have a clue? But I say Collberg since he seem to develop in a good way. (But I know close to nothing of Shinkaruk to be honest)

Two boom bust prospects... Going to go with Collberg just because I think the Habs are better at drafting. Though I think both will bust.

Be nice to have a poll without the votes of Canucks or Habs fans

I think the Winnipeg Jets made a big mistake passing on Shinkaruk.

You mean being the best forward prospect at our development camp and being one of the leading scorers in international tournaments?

Gonna go with Collberg as he's a bit more developed and was really impressive at the WJCs.
One would expect the guy one year older to be more developed at this point. It's too early to tell because we don't know how much either player will grow in the future but based on pure skills, upside it's Hunter.

Hunter is a late '94 birthday, so Collberg is only 8 months older, and in the same development year.

Shinkaruk has a higher ceiling while Collberg is traditionally more "safe".

I love both prospects and I'm impatient to see how these guys translate in the NHL.

Interesting reading....I will not give my opinion because I really do not know anything about Hunter.
I hope for both teams they become good NHL players in the future....

Shinkaruk wouldn't be the first player to drop and years later people will ask how and why.

He should be a better producer than Collberg, if he wants to be.

Was a big fan of Collberg in his draft year, I even thought he could have been picked in the top 20. But I say Shinkaruk here for sure.

Shinkaruk fell because he's not a good skater, and he doesn't have great size. For a guy that likes to go deep into the offensive zone... those are pretty big issues that need to be addressed before he ever makes it.

I don't know much about Collberg.

Clearly don't know much about Shinkaruk either. His skating is one of his best qualities.
