for pp qb dman schultz sure has a hard time handling the puck at the blueline. honestly every game that goes by makes me HATE the kid more and more, such a sense of self entitlement and after every game he has a bruised throat due to his play
Looking like the rank amateurs they have been for pretty much all season. Without a superhuman, out of body experience in net today this is what we get to see. Several times I saw Eakins on the bench, blowing his cheeks like he had no answers -- how about coaching the team to play? How about having them prepared to come and bring it? I have held off pillorying the guy, but enough already. Second, the damn players again need to prepare themselves and play, not just show up in the uniform. Puck support, back check, sticks in lanes, gapping your checks properly, angling them off and funnelling them to the boards, pinning players against the boards to break cycles... is it really that hard to learn the fundamentals and stick with them? Is it really that much of an unreasonable request to ask players getting paid millions to put in a good effort 75% of the season? We've seen maybe 25% effort as fans to date.
Sad sack group of losers; perhaps we are just as bad for continuing to watch this dreck as fans.
