As far as handedness goes I've always thought there was a rough trend in the NHL that the best shooters tend to be righties while the best danglers and playmakers tend to be lefties. Also as a lefty when I used to play around in the basement if doing a lot of stick handling my right arm got tired first while if I was shooting it was my left arm that started feeling the strain. This all leads me to believe that having your dominant hand on top or bottom is better for different things.

yep he was hunched over on the bench for sometime, he was hit pretty hard in the corner, not sure if its related but wouldn't doubt it

Wish i could have given a good analysis on more players but i was so busy watching Shinkaruk. haha and Horvat eventually

So is there going to be another one of these scrimmages in Vancouver?

^ They're supposed to scrimmage today as well if I recall, but 4-on-4 and not open to the public I think.

I actually thought Jensen worked hard out there, especially in puck retrieval and on the backcheck. Though as others mentioned he did sort of puck hog a little bit whenever he entered the zone, thought he got sort of frustrated at not being able to get many of his shots off as well as he would've liked.

That pass to Kenins at the end of the scrimmage there was a nice play by him though, leading to Gaunce's goal.

Read the last couple pages. Debated as nauseum.

It looks like him for sure, but yes he shoots left.

Lol not even gonna bother looking at that debate...that's 100% him, about 4 years ago and it's shot with a macbook camera so everything is reversed. just go look at the rest of his youtube account there's videos of him as a 14 year old at canada's u18 camp.

I thought it was because most players in the NHL start at an early age when shooting/passing with a relatively heavy stick requires strength. That's why they have their dominant hand on the top. Beer leagues are choc a bloc with righties because they tend to be guys that picked up the game later on.

Saw someone asking for highlights in a diff thread, so...

I cut out Kenward completely and replaced him with music, so if you don't like it, just mute it.

A rather good decision, I say. Thanks for doing this.

Thanks! 2 minutes shorter than TSN's coverage of the Leafs team breakfast on a game day though. You obviously hate the Canucks and have extreme eastern bias

thanks for that really impressed with Button's rush and puck movement...clearly he's my #2 fav D prospect behind Corrado (i didnt automatically decided this just by watching that highlight...been a fan since they drafted him )

Excellent work. Love it. Thanks.

The title cards for each segment were super helpful. I had so much trouble following individuals in the scrimmage.

Nice. I wish all highlights packages were presented that way (well, with a better commentator instead of music/Kenward of course).

I watched the entire scrimmage and that highlights package gives me a much clearer idea of who looks good.

I didn't understand the Jensen criticism, and that highlights package shows that he wasn't that bad, either.

My God (some sarcasm there - in LV for a skeptics / atheists / humanists conference) but what a great video - particularily since our fzcking comp lost its antenna and we have no wifi - so using a comp that has no sound - great video
