What a horrible pitch by Buehrle to Davis. A cookie 81mph fastball up in the zone with 1-2 count for Davis to crush. Feed him breaking balls, not fastballs up in the zone that won't be blown by anyone.

He already has career highs in pretty much every stat offensively. That's just unbelievable, wish the Rangers never made that trade.

I don't understand how this guy gets away so much pitching up in the zone.

Barry Bonds from 1990-2007: .309/.467/.647/1.114

Chris Davis: .310/.388/.696/1.084

Absolutely ****ing insane Barry Bonds was better than Chris Davis spectacular season for basically his entire career. Best hitter ever IMO.

JP Arencibia has a higher walk rate than Manny Machado. True story.

Adam Jones has 10 walks this season. JP has 16 walks. Jones has like 100 more at-bats.

Bonds was also one of the best fielders and baserunners in the 90s. Best positional player ever.

I don't want to say blow up the team, but we really need to figure out what we plan to do with Lind, bottom of our line up and pitching for next year.

I wonder if Pedro Alvarez could ever figure it out like Chris Davis did. He has 70/80 power but struggles to make contact and doesn't walk enough. He is way better than Chris Davis was at that age as Chris Davis was a scrub before being traded to Orioles but Alvarez could be a special bat if he were to start making a bit more contact. Already a good enough bat as it is.

Why is DeRosa playing with a right handed pitcher pitching?
