Jets Vs Blues: Tuesday March 10

Can we bring it to the blues tomorrow? I expect Hutch will get the start, and Little will still be out. Blues are 5-4-1 in their last ten, coming off a 6-1 blowout of the leafs.

We always play the Blues close, and I see nothing different here. We've been playing fantastic hockey for the last 5 games, and I really hope this is the team ramping up at the end of the season instead of the usual winding down.

Get the win. Put the pressure on the Sharks Kings Wild and Flames.

WHAT IS BEST IN LIFE?!?!

We're gonna need to beat the Blues in regulation the rest of the games to improve our draft pick.

The Olli factor comes into play here. Olli get traded from Preds and they go on an epic slide. Was in Toronto long enough for a cup of coffee, and to help the Leafs get a rare victory against his last year's team, the Jets. He was in on the OT goal. Then the Leafs trade him to the Blues, so the Blue's come back to Toronto and rout Olli's 'new' old team, the Leafs - the score was something like 60 to 1. Maybe not 60, but I think there was a 6 in there.

Anyway, unless we can organize a trade to have Olli a member of the Jets for one game, the Olli factor means we lose this game. I just hope that he isn't in on the game winner again.

Yep, a win in regulation against the Blues would make me really happy.

Olli will be watching from the press box when the Jets score the winning goal.

GJG.

would be nice to steal one from them in their own building. Maybe they'll have a let down after playing the buds.

Of course we need to win, but our games against the blues are just darn entertaining... and we play really well against them. I'm really looking forward to watching the game.

The draft pick angle is one more reason to really look forward to a regulation win!

There is no way that we're going to be underestimated by the Blues though, they have done their homework on us by now....

The way Nashvillie is going that may not be enough. I think the Blues will win the central now.

Will probably be a game very much like the last time we played them. Small number of goals, huge number of hits, maybe a couple of scraps, which means a lot of penalty minutes.
I feel if we loose the game, it will be a "good" loss, because I expect the Jets to put in a good effort, and if we should win the game, it will be just another Nashville game I guess.

Will Little miss the game? Also, I heard Halischuk is nearly ready to return.

Yeah, Nashville has really fallen off the rails lately. And I don't think Chicago is good enough to catch up to the Blues without Kane...

I don't want to think about other teams and what they need to do or whatever. I know one thing for sure - if we win every game remaining this season, we're in! Do eeeeeeeeeeeet!

I'm a little nervous playing the Blues in their barn without Big Buff and Little . The JETS are going to have to play even better than they did against Nashville . GO Hutch GO and move O'dell up to the 3rd line and Slater down to the 4th line !!! GO JETS GO !!

We need to rid ourselves of the " Steen" curse that has caused us too many loses against the Blues. Last games shoot out winner and last seasons multiple goal games by the son of Thomas has sunk the Jets 2.0 against the Blues

We need a anti swede/ anti Steen potion or spell to get over this Steen curse in these 3 pivotal games against St. Louis

Romang do you have any suggestions...... Or maybe we should be asking some of our Finnish connections....... They seem to have Sweden 's # in big games........( sarcasm)

And what would Romang know on how to deal with a Winnipeg born and trained 200 ft hockey player?

I'm just glad this game is back on TSN. I don't think I could take 3 games in a row on Sportsnet.

The bolded a million times over. Slater is not offensively minded at all. Felt bad for Tlusty and Stempniak.

I didn't mind not being able to hear the play-by-play for the first half of the game on Saturday. That kind of incompetence is hard to come by.

Buff missing will hurt us in this game. We're going to need Lowry and Scheifele to step up physically.
