Their best way to deal with the comp. pick has passed (29th). This would be a lot less funny if they got it back, but they won't. Say they give up next year's: that's 29th / traded (9th) / and no 1st. Virtually 3 years in a row without a 1st rounder. I get that Schneider fills the hole in goal, but that's a tough break for what is already one of the worst farms.

Although, my main concern would be: who is the face of the franchise now? Schneider? Elias? Zajac? Henrique? <- are these 3 enough to bring home the bacon (goals)? Seriously, who is going to score for them, Clowe? I really don't think Schneider is good enough to win with that kind of offensive support.
